Gordon Dining and Event Center in Madison offers a variety of meal options such as quesadillas, stir fry, burgers, fries, and more. The dining area provides tables, charging plug points, and a student discount when using a Wisc ID card. The food is pre-made but still delicious and includes great beverage choices like pop and juice. Visitors appreciate the friendly service, with staff being very welcoming and attentive. Reviewers have noted the great ambience, plenty of food choices—including vegetarian options—and affordable prices. They also mention that the center is clean, comfortable, and safe, with an organized layout suitable for college dining. It is easy to get a seat and serve yourself, though there is a note that the center closes one hour before the official closing time, making it difficult to get food just before closing. The center does not accept cash, only cards, which visitors find helpful. Overall, the Gordon Dining and Event Center is appreciated for its good food, friendly service, and good value.
