Had a really great basket of catfish bites here once, like crazy good. The next two times there, walked in once and the guy at the counter said “sorry, we’re closed” while the woman was frying up fish and packing to-go orders (11:30am), walked up at 11:30am again a few days later, guy met us at the door, “sorry, we’re closed, I just can’t get anybody to work” while the same woman was making food in the kitchen and a few folks were sitting in their cars and waiting...

@JD’s Taste of Chicago delicious Maxwell Street Polish and the perfect amount of sauce on the fries, somehow they were crispy and sauced, a rare combination. 10/10 will stop again.

This place is amazing. Cassandra was very nice and helpful. The food was hot and fresh. Great spices. It really reminds me of home.. (chicago) I love this spot. And oh yeah. The fries are on point.
