Listen so every time I come in here, I have some of the best service from the guy with the porn mustache. Yeah, OK He makes the best drinks and the food here the chicken wings are probably the best in town. This is one of the best neighborhood bars in this area and I’m so happy this place exists!!!
Food was mid, burger was not anything special and fries sucked the person I was with got the wings and he thought they were extremely good (I did not try) drinks were quite expensive but we were going to a concert right next door so not sure if that’s the price all the time. The server was very nice and helpful and helped us with the venue that was next door for a concert but service did take forever even though it was quite dead inside.
LJs has been my go-to sports bar in Madison. It offers a great layout for watching all the screens, and they always turn on the sound for major games. However, it sometimes can get a bit too loud with the volume, making it hard to have a conversation without raising your voice. It's also a great spot to grab a drink before or after a show or a Madison Forward game. The tap beer prices are reasonable for downtown, and they have a nice variety of choices.
