Pizza Di Roma West

Absolutely love this pizza. Hasn't realized until earlier tonight that the west side location existed (got through some lean college years a slice at a time downtown), and I was cautiously optimistic ordering carryout for the family.The location is a bit odd, and doesn't seem like it'd draw much traffic, but my youngest and I were amazed at how nice the location looked on the inside (yet another "if not for COVID" moment). My heart was more than a little heavy when I saw the "For Sale" real estate sign in front of the west side PDR. For the past three years, it has been virtually my sole source to feed the insatiable pizza-fueled demon that lives inside me. I was fearful the pandemic would yield this result. Thank you, PDR, for some amazing memories, and for serving some of the best pizza I've ever had. Truly hope our paths will cross again.

I know every single pizza place in Madison has 4 stars, but I actually think this is the best pizza on the West side, maybe the best on the East side too, not sure. Caprese pizza is especially good. Crust is very good and ingredients seem to be of high quality. Large delivery area, even to Middleton.
