Yahara Bay Distillers offers a unique, local experience with amazing spirits and even better people. The atmosphere is laid back, unpretentious, and super chill, making it a great place to wind down and talk. The cocktails are deliciously creative, and the service is spectacular. The bartenders are incredibly friendly and passionate about what they do, with a wealth of knowledge to guide guests through tastings. Specific drinks include the Limoncello, which is on the sweet side with a bit of heaviness of alcohol aftertaste; the 3rd Gear Old Fashioned, a sweeter old fashioned with a hint of whisky; the Sour Cherry, which tastes similar to plum liquor; and the Apple-Peach Liqueur, which has more of a peach scent than apple. The Part & Parcel Rye Whiskey is also top-notch. The place only opens on Friday and Saturday. It is the perfect night for cocktails, a date night, or to play some games with good drinks and friends. Guests have bought bottles of bourbon as gifts and look forward to returning.
