It was me and a group of 6 teenage girls and we were hungry,it was getting late, had no idea where to eat, and they were so accommodating on getting tables together, helping us out with menu items, and just being awesome. “We travel all over the United States and feel that the tacos at Pat’s Tavern in Rhinelander are the best we’ve ever had. We are from Florida and will go out of our way to stop there on Taco Wednesday if we are anywhere close to Rhinelander. Great atmosphere, friendly people, and tacos are so worth the drive. It’s definitely a 5.0! Yum!“

“It's been awh3ile since we last ate here because we didn't think the food was all that good. We went back last week and was pleasantly surprised. The steak actually had some flavor. The potatoes weren't overcooked. All the food was hot and the drinks were cold. It was a pretty busy place. We didn't have reservations but were seated. By the time we finished eating, the place was full.“

“Just updated their menu, great food hand-made to order not prepackaged, not burger "patties". The clam chowder is EXCELLENT. I haven't had a bad fish meal yet. Excellent flavor on each. Just tried the BBQ Bourbon Maple burger with sweet potato fries most recently - YUM! Due to the size of the place and the kitchen you WILL have a long wait on a Friday and sometimes a Saturday. Either be patient and expect it or go another night. They are one of the rare area places open on Monday night. Thursdays and Sundays are also great nights to go without a wait. Every place is packed on Friday around here and most cannot get the staff, space or kitchen capacity to meet it so don't complain or say you weren't expecting a wait that day. Glad to have this place reopened and offering some excellent seafood you can't find anywhere else.“
