“We love the pizza we buy at The Pizza Shop in Merrill. Not only does it have a nice flavor, it has a crispy crust reminiscent of piecrust. Since we live some distance away, we take home frozen pizzas which are sold half off the second pizza any day, any time.”

“We recently had Ed and Sharon’s cater a meal for 50 people. The food was amazing—chicken, beef tips, coleslaw, rolls, potatoes and gravy. Everyone enjoyed the food and there was plenty for an encore presentation at dinner for a house get together 🥰. Thank you!!”

“Great Wisconsin bar. We stopped in on Saturday 3/15/25 at 10am for a bloody mary. It was excellent. This is the 2nd time we have stopped at this bar while visiting Merrill. Staff and locals are very friendly. New barstools are very comfy and you could sit there all day. We will definitely visit again next time we are in Merrill. Would definitely recommend!”

“The lovely cashier/griller/fryer/assembly/dishes/cleaner DEGAN KLOTH was so excellent at his job and he’s a really hard worker, always stays busy too! He really made the atmosphere so warming and welcoming and really brightened my day. He was very professional as well and caring about his work place. Man if I owned this establishment I’d give him the manager spot ASAP!”

“Spent several days hiking in the area, staying at a friend's cottage. Stopped here after our last hike, at Grandfather Falls. Good food, good service, cute place. And, they are sponsors/supporters of the Ice Age Trail, Merrill being an Ice Age Trail Community. Yeah!”

“Go here if you want a great dining experience! Pride in ownership is evident in this establishment. They have made many changes since taking over - making the overall experience feel a bit more upscale from the typical dining experience in Merrill. Upon entering, you’re immediately greeted and seated by a host. You might notice the stools at the bar neatly angled, welcoming the next patrons. The music is tasteful and fun, loud enough to damper out neighboring guests conversations, but not too loud to enjoy your own. They have awesome milkshakes for the kids and a nice selection of adult beverages. Don’t skip the cheese curds as an appetizer if you can help it! As far as I can tell, the menu is very similar to the previous owners menu but they have made a lot of improvements to the quality and presentation of the food. If you are a prime rib fan - try theirs - it does not disappoint. They also run frequent specials. Every time I dine here - it’s better than the last. We are blessed to have this establishment in our town! ♥️”

“I went to chips today on August 14, 2025 around 1:49 PM and ordered my food got up to pay and was told the truck in front of me paid for my meal. I don’t know who you are but I just wanted to say thank you for the kind gesture And of course, my food was delicious”

“THIS is the place for your Chinese cravings. Authentic, fresh and delicious every single time. We’re repeat customers easily! Never had a poor experience or meal from here. FAIR WARNING: It is a ONE MAN show back there, owner does all of the cooking and order taking himself. It will be about an hour or so wait on busy nights. Don’t let that turn you off though! It is worth the wait.”
