“Great neighborhood bar. Not a lot of bars like this place in Madison. Most nights have something going on. Bingo, trivia and they almost always have some kind of food truck offering. The bartenders are friendly and very personable and make coming to this bar a treat every week.“
“Good beer, actually one of the best in town. Nice, strong, intense beer styles, some quite rare, no wimpy Mexican lagers or session IPAs in sight. Good, unobtrusive service, unlike some downtown pubs. No blaring TVs which is rare these days - a nice spot to enjoy beer, talk, or think.“
“We have a lovely visit to Delta Beer Lab on a Saturday afternoon. They have two bake your own options- pizza and giant pretzels- and we went for the pretzels which had 2 delicious dipping sauces. There is lots of seating- bar, indoor tables, and outdoor tables- providing many options. They also have lots of puzzles and games for kids and adults alike which is fun. The space was very clean, and the staff were all wonderful and provided great suggestions. I also took 2 four packs of their rootbeer to go and it was absolutely delicious. The next time I'm up in Madison I'll be stopping in either to visit or take some to-go beverages home with me. Highly recommend!“
“Not a bad house beer in the bunch. Great vibe, pinball machines are a plus. The focus here is on tart, funky blended beers. And he execution of those is phenomenal. Great and friendly staff. If sours or pinball are your thing, this is a must go in Madison.“
“Came here for a low key dinner with a group and our poor server was literally just on his first day on the job alone. Bless his soul for taking care of the kitchen and all the food we ordered (basically everything on the menu) and drinks. Can't tell you about the alcoholic stuff but *** Root Beer is delicious and obviously so because of how much sugar is in that thing! *** Ambiance - came on a Monday afternoon so very chill and low key - casual with a good number of tables indoor. **** Restrooms - fairly clean! *** Parking - limited to 4 spots in front of the establishment but street parking is available too. **** Food: everything fried as you may well be aware is delicious when it's warm and not too hot or you'll burn your tongue. But it was all pretty decent. * jumbo pretzel - dough was tasty * chicken tenders were my favorite -- don't know how you'd eat that between two burger buns but I opted to eat them separately and dunk them in the ranch, and eat the tomatoes separately :D * cheese curds were ok - I've had better elsewhere * Southwest corn fritters - slightly spicy but not too bad * Waffle fries - decent too * OTHERS: They have WIFI! Ps. They have a 3% charge for credit cards.“
“I just stopped in for one beer. I saw it on their online menu and wanted to try it. "This Guy Fishes." My favorite beers are Doppelbock, and I've never heard of a "Helles" (light) colored Doppelbock. It is very good. I'm glad that I stopped in.“
“I really love this beer. I have been going to Florida St. Pete’s area & having there name brand beer, I found this to be very similar tasting, Not exactly but I feel like a little vacation when have this beer…And it’s in my backyard, Yum Very refreshing!“
“The Vintage provided a private room for a work function that had plenty of seating and standing tables. The food was great and our host was actively checking in to make sure we had everything we needed at all times. The private bar was a bonus. Everyone enjoyed themselves and I would highly recommend the Vintage for any gathering.“
“My mom and I had a wonderful experience here last night before a concert! The wait was a tad long, but that could have been avoided if I made reservations. The Hosts were super friendly & the server was also very kind and attentive! Even with a packed house our food came out very fast and was delicious! If I ever come back to Madison, I will definitely return here!“
“We love Octopi. Great beer, food is pretty good. MOST of the staff is friendly and helpful but that brings me to the 4 stars instead of 5. The last handful of times we’ve gone, there’s a couple particular staff members that are pretty rude for no apparent reason. I assumed with the first negative experience that they just were just having a bad day, but at this point just consistently cranky. Kind of ruins the experience. We’ve started going a lot less because of it.In a nutshell, beer and food is good but there’s a good chance you could get some hostile service.“
“We LOVED the domes! The actual bar and restaurant area were awesome, and the bathroom was very clean, but we spent the bulk of our time in our dome. The food, drinks, fast and friendly service, partnered with an awesome winter atmosphere made for an awesome girls' night.“
“An awesome brewery with a great beer selection! Open all year, but especially attractive in the warmer months where they have a HUGE outdoor seating area complete with a stage where they have regular live music! Food trucks also frequently visit in the summer! A great spot to hang out.“
