“Took some business professionals here for a lunch and was surprised to see almost no one inside at noon during the week! There was 1 guy at the bar, but he left almost as soon as we sat down. The bartender was also our waitress and overall she did a good job. Waters didn't stay empty for long as she brought over a large pitcher mid way through the meal. I don't recall her ever asking how our meal was at all. We had to go to the bar to pay the check & ask for to go containers, since she didn't come back to our table. There was maybe 2-3 people at the bar at that point, but I didn't see her visiting with them at all either. 2 of us at the table got the 4 pcs of broasted chicken, one plate arrived right away and looked amazing! The second plate arrived after everyone else had their food and looked pitiful!! The first plate's chicken barely fit on the plate, while the second plate of chicken didn't even cover 1/3 of the plate!! It looked like they ran out of chicken and either cooked up some Cornish game hen quick or shot a crow! Very disappointing! The side salad was also pretty minimal, lettuce, cheese & croutons, nothing more. Everyone said their food was good, but I just ended up getting the short end of the stick. I would have thought maybe they'd divvy up the smaller pieces between the two plates instead of giving one plate all the mini pieces!”

“Yummy food and generous proportions. They messed up my order but caught it on their own. They were very nice about everything and went above and beyond. I ordered a pizza and it was neglected a bit so it came out crispy. They put a new pizza in for me without hesitation and told me about the mistake. I'd never have know, but i appreciate their honesty. Great people and food.”

“Best Pizza anywhere. Great garlicky sauce, tasty crust and fabulous amount of cheese and extras for the lowest cost around. Still can’t believe you can get large 4 topping pizza for $20-21. The taste is out of this world fantastic.”

“💫 Every thing was beyond delicious! I would have eaten a whole plate of just the mushroom risotto and asparagus, but the mahi Mahi and crab cakes went way above my expectations!! Even the strawberry green salad starter was a culinary treat! What do I even say about the bananas foster? 🔥🔥🔥 Finally, Gold Star 🌟 for all the small touches that made dinner into such a beautiful experience. 💫”

“The burgers are smash burger style. There was a line of customers when we went right as they opened. I had a burger with jalapeños but I didn't think it had much of a kick, even with the sauce and pepper jack cheese. It wasn't bad, but I would have liked more heat. The fries were good. My teenagers would like it but this is a lunch restaurant and the hours don't really work for us. With their hours, only Saturdays during the school year would be an option plus none of us work in SCF so the adults aren't in town during the week at lunchtime. They are open seasonally which is understandable since this establishment does not have indoor seating. I do look forward to trying the other burgers here if I get the opportunity. We have wanted to go before but they have either been closed or the limited hours meant we couldn't go for an evening meal. It's a nice lunch option.”

“They have a friendly staff every time I've been in there. we set up an ATV ride coming down from Grantsburg and just rolled in hot with around 150 machines this weekend and they were able to handle the crowd no problem. our club will bring future runs down this way again.”

Then last night; We got a wonderful impromptu personal tour from the owner. So, so immaculate, and owner was very passionate & explained everything w a smile from ear to ear. What a wonderful gem this place is.

The owner Suzie, bartender John and cook chopper were super friendly and fun to talk to and even though it’s a small place kinda out in the middle of nowhere I will gladly return again.
