“We used Linda's bakery for our 10/05/24 wedding, and had aa personal cake for the bride & groom and a selection of cupcakes for guests. We had a chocolate cake for ourselves and then chocolate, vanilla, and lemon cupcakes, all with delicious buttercream frosting. Our cake was relatively simple by choice, and it came out exactly as I envisioned and then we added our own topper! When we cut it and had the first bite my husband and I both looked right at each other and went "oh, yes" because it was so delicious! I don't have photos of the cupcakes right now since I won't have my photos back for a while yet, but I promise you they were so cute! And certainly very delicious; my fiancé and I took home the extras and have been thoroughly enjoying continuing the celebratory mood with our leftover cupcakes :) We cannot recommend Linda's bakery enough if you are having a wedding or event in the area!”

The owner hosted us directly, and she is absolutely wonderful. She was so friendly, welcoming, and fun, bringing so much heart and energy to her beautiful business. We tried several fun flights, and she accommodated all the different drinks we wanted to sample. She even let us test out a delicious vanilla-cream-based 4th of July drink with Pop Rocks! Her incredible hospitality truly brightened up an already beautiful space. We will absolutely be back! Check it out with a group of your girlfriends or your spouse for a more romatic feel. The highlight of dinner was the non-alcoholic blackberry breeze for my daughter. It was super yummy and made her feel older than her thirteen years. We'll be back.”

“I stopped at Cookies and Cream Cafe for the first time today. The young lady that waited on me was very pleasant and helpful. I bought a dozen cookies and a Christmas chai. I have tried one cookie and it was very good and the Chai was full of flavor.”

“My wife and I stopped by last Friday (9/12/2025). Our first choice (suggested by our host) was the Red Pines Bar and Grill, but after being notified that it would be a 45-minute wait, we decided to go to Angelinis. We are so glad we did! Our first time in a real Italian restaurant. The waiter, after giving me a quick lesson in the correct pronunciation of "bruschetta," was very amiable and professional. A wonderful young man! The food was fantastic. The service was excellent, but the lighting was a little lacking. Some people were using their phone's flashlight to read the menu. Added Angelinis to our "Must Return If In The Area" list! Well done!”

“A classic local supper club, this hidden gem is worth the scenic drive through the woods. Small, quaint and charming, this is the epitome of friendly hospitality and great food in central Wisconsin. Dinners come with soup or tomato juice (the same as every restaurant my parents took us to in the 1960's!), a small, fresh salad bar, and a generously portioned entree. The Pan Fried Walleye was perfectly prepared and served with drawn butter and tartar sauce. The hash browns were also perfect, crisp bits with fluffy potato shreds. We ended our meal by sharing a Pink Monkey (Pink Squirrel), which also took me back to days gone by, when my parents would let us have a small taste of their dessert drink, while we had ice cream. The staff is wonderfully friendly and helpful, and they have a full bar and a bartender who makes classic Old Fashioned cocktails.”

“Golden China is great. My order is always ready by the time I arrive to pick it up. The produce is always fresh and meat is always cooked well. Everything stays hot and crispy during the drive home.

This is the kind of place where their kids would take orders while studying/doing home work. Amazing atmosphere and beloved by the community.

“Moved to LAX 2 years ago when I retired. Found DR’s and since gone in 4-5 times a week for lunch or dinner. Spent on the average of $800.00/month since. Forgot to pay my $15.47 bill the other night and walked out. Came in the next day and was told of my mistake by their manager Kevin and told I was kicked out for life. I didn’t get into a fight, get into an argument, I forgot to pay my bill. That being said everyone there knows I will come in the next day or tomorrow and would make good of it. Please stay away from this place. Cannot believe a fine man Dave Skogen(Festival Foods) is associated with this place?”

The food is top notch. I always come visit when I’m in town. The Gyro/Italian beef special days are my favorite. The fries are the best I’ve had.”
