Oh my Heavens! The absolute best ice cream I have ever tasted! Hate that today was their last day for the season because I have just fallen in love with each new flavor I've tried! Super good fudge & such sweet people! This is the quality gelato and ice cream made in Madison and I am an ice cream junkie.
Besides the fact that they were still open in early October, the lady serving the ice cream was super friendly. Chocolate Shoppe ice cream is always good, so no issues there. The ice cream parlor is set back from the road a little bit. Don't be discouraged when you don't see it right away.
So good. And very generous. Huge variety of flavors and mixing. A very good value. Old fashioned icecream shop. Like it should be. It's off the boardwalk but I think that's what gives it an advantage.
