“This was my first time to eat pizza from Ferraro’s in Racine WI and it will not be my last. The crispy crust followed with a sweet savory sauce hit the spot. The only mistake was my fault I should have ordered a larger pizza. I came home with the pizza and my grandson just about ate it all.
The service matched the quality of the pizza. Rob and his crew are knocking it out of the park with their friendly, caring customer focused service. I am looking forward to visiting Ferraro’s more in the future.“

“Just finished an incredible Fat Tuesday/early Valentine’s dinner at Sturinos! The eggplant Parmesan was the best I’ve ever had! The eggplant was sautéed and seasoned perfectly with a nice topping of Parmesan and mozzarella. Usually the eggplant has so much breading that you hardly taste the eggplant itself. This was just perfect. My husband had the meatloaf special and loved it. The mashed red-skin potatoes were delicious and the meatloaf was flavorful and moist. Everything is homemade and fresh. One of our favorite restaurants in the area!“

“Great food in a homey atmosphere, fantastic service. They have changed the recipe of their chicken fettuccini however. It has really Smokey flavor which three of the people at our table did not like. We have been going there for years, some of us for what we think was the best fettuccini anywhere around. Why they changed it we do not know but we won’t go back and order that again. The mom used to make the sauce and I guess somebody thought it would be good to mess with perfection.“

“We go here often. The food is awesome, along with the waitress staff. I always love it when they put the fresh cheese on my main dish, and I love a ton and have never had a waitress complain or stop putting the cheese on until I stop. Then, of course, there are all the bread sticks and salad you can eat. What I like also, is they normally ask you if you have time or am in a hurry.

Kid-friendliness: There are kids eating in there all the time.

Wheelchair accessibility: They have large double doors that should be no problem for a wheelchair.“

“Our go-to pizza joint.
Very good thin crust pizza very close to home. Pasta dishes are great, too. Daily specials and coupons help too.

Update: pizzas are now hit-n-miss. Some days it is the best in town, other days not worth the effort. We are now evaluating 3 other places that are further from home, to find our GO TO PIZZA place. The inconsistency is just too much.

“I'll admit, I was a little thrown off that s pizza place also had sweets, but it works! Not only that, but both are actually really good. Sauce is nice with a hint of sweetness - which works well, especially if you're getting pineapple on your pizza. Yes, pineapple DOES belong on pizza. Have had the chocolate covered Nutter Butters and the s'mores bark - VERY good! My favorite pizza place in Racine.“

“was told 10-15 minutes, got there and waited about 20 mins after being told it would be 5. Forgot the garlic bread with cheese. waited again. Got home, pizza ice cold, and I don't know what it was but definitely Not garlic bread. called and was completely blown off even by the manager. Truly a disappointing experience all the way around. Totally disorganized. Never again!“

“Their pizza is great. I got both thin crust and a hand tossed pizzas. Lots of great topping. Not a bargain price. If you want dough with skimpy toppings, go someplace else. At this time, takeout only. I ordered by phone and it was ready as promised.

“My parents owned a restaurant down the way from here as a second income source in the late 80s. So as a child of parents who had a day time job and then owned and managed a restaurant we ate a lot of pizza (when not eating the food at their restaurant naturally). This set a very high bar for pizza and Italian food in general. Came back a few years ago and was glad to see it still open and glad it was the same as I remembered.“

High-quality ingredients no specialty toppings the day I see sun-dried tomatoes, pineapple, pine nuts on the menu, I’m out of there. lol The best sauce, the best crust, the best cheese and the best staff.
