“We picked up the hand breaded fried cod with fries and potato pancakes. I have never had a take out fish fry that I’ve loved after getting it home, until now. WOW. The breading was crunchy, cod was cooked perfectly, it came with a delicious coleslaw, rye bread, tarter sauce (yum!), applesauce and lemon. This is absolutely a top 3 fish fry for me. We can wait to go back!!!“

“I am beyond disappointed with my experience here. We asked the bartender for a simple mushroom garnish for our drinks, but they mistakenly rang up an order of breaded mushrooms. When we tried to clarify the order, the bartender completely lost their temper and started screaming at us, accusing us of lying about what we ordered. ​Mistakes happen with orders, but being screamed at by staff is unacceptable. It was embarrassing and ruined our night. We won’t be returning until management addresses the extreme lack of professionalism behind the bar. this occurred at approximately 530-6 pm on 1/2 26 for reference for management as to who the young male bartender on duty was..“

I've had Anjalesa twice now, and she has been wonderful—truly exceptional service.

If I could complain about one thing, it's the consistent lack of salad. I've come three Fridays now, and every time, the salad is completely gone, which is the only side I can have. They can't have one of the best ranches and not carry enough salad that they run out every Friday I've been here! I end up paying full price but leave with no side.

I hope the management sees this and addresses the salad stock, because otherwise, this place is a huge winner.“

“Let’s start with 5 stars***** We visited Tally’s Tap on Wednesday October 8, 2025. This was our first visit. We spoke to a man on the way in, and he recommended the BBQ Ribs which was the ‘Homemade Dinner’ special - his name was Stan (a once a week regular). Inside we were promptly seated, and it was busy, with a full parking lot. Mike was our great waiter, and we also met Chad (another super friendly and knowledgeable waiter). I ordered a full rack of ribs, with Mac and cheese, fresh green beans, and corn bread for $24 (I think). Stan and Chad were right - the ribs were super tender, great BBQ sauce. I shared them with my husband and daughter and we all felt they were absolutely outstanding. Corn bread was very tasty as was the Mac and cheese. My husband ordered a wrap with grilled portobello, and a cilantro sauce - he said it was good. My daughter ordered a salad, with fried chicken sliced on top, and substituted the menu dressing for the green goddess. Everyone enjoyed their food. It was a lovely first visit, and we will be back! Thanks to the employees, and owners for making this such a great experience. By the way - I am very picky. I know good food because I worked in some great restaurants on the East Coast. It is tough to have me really love a meal - but you guys made that happen!“

“I called to order two meals for take for takeout and a young man by the name of Pano answer the phone and the first thing I noticed was his positive energy and how respectful and courteous he was when he was taking my order. He used words that you don't hear much of now a days like like hello, thank you for calling in, how can I help you, is there anything else you may want, repeating the order back to me with no mistakes, and here's the big one saying THANK YOU! And just like he said 15 minutes your order will be ready and it was. When I went to pick up he greeted me with a handshake and let me know how much he appreciated our business. Pano you are an exceptional representative for the restaurant polite, smart, unbelievable social skills and respectfulness, not to mention a great looking young man. “We have traveled extensively throughout the United States and Caribbean. In fact, we are three states away from being in all fifty. This hotel is one of the best planned and run that we have ever stayed in! The check in agent was busy on a work related call but managed to check us in so we didn’t have to wait. The room was spotless and smelled very clean. The bed was oriented facing the window which I don’t think I’ve ever seen before. Rather enjoyed that. Very comfortable pillows, two seemed to be feather. An honest to goodness nightlight was provided in the bathroom instead of nothing or a green glowing panel. The floor to ceiling sliding glass door in the shower insured no fighting with a curtain to keep water off the floor. Nicely arranged bathmat to look like a butterfly. Speaking of the shower, how nice the have the water control on the opposite wall from the shower head so you don’t get sprayed with cold water. A nice big shower also. PLENTY of outlets and USB fast charging ports in the room also, much appreciated! Well appointed gym. The breakfast room in the morning was well designed with tvs on several walls so no matter which way you faced, made for easy viewing. The breakfast among other things consisted of scrambled eggs, hash browns and nice crisp bacon. Muffins, waffles, breads etc made for a breakfast to please anyone. All well serviced and maintained by staff. USA Today was provided both downstairs and by the elevator on the floors. Ample parking and walking distance from a Walgreens and restaurants. Right across the the State Fairgrounds also. All in all, congratulations to the management and a place we will definitely stay at again should we find ourselves in Milwaukee!“
