“Love these little old school pubs just sitting there at a 4way stop. Been here since tge 60's. Bartender was spot on, friendly and quick service. One of the locals told me tgat the Prime Rib can't be beat (served on Mondays) and if you order steal tacos on Thursday, they use the left over Prime Rib. Hard to beat that. Very friendly regulars, and even bought me a shot. I will be back to try the food and will update my review.Parking: Small lot with a lot of cars. But you can be creative to make a spot.“
“This was like my fifth time eating here because it is nearby. I had a cheeseburger and ordered the baby back ribs to go. The burger seemed a little more basic and unseasoned compared to the last time. Tater tots were fine.On returning home I figured I should try the ribs before they got cold since I've never had them from Point After before.I almost couldn't stop myself from eating the entire half rack! So tasty and fall off the bone with minimal fat. I'd like to compare these to Oh Dennis my other go to place. These are on the sweeter side with the BBQ sauce than Oh Dennis but just as lean. Don't know if they are this good every time but looking forward to finding out!“
“Stopped in for lunch with a couple of coworkers. They let us seat ourselves. Waitress came over quickly and took our drink order. Brought the drinks out and took our food order. Food came out in an appropriate amount of time and was hot. Large servings of fries and tots. Food was above average bar food. My only suggestion would be a little less salt on the fries. Very crowded over the lunch hour, but didn't have any issues. “Fantastic burgers at any price, but for $10.75 you get the Big O, or a little less for the other burgers. Sides are great. Service is great (and usually pretty fast). Have yet to have a bad experience, and I don’t expect I will. I go out of my way to come here for lunch. Truly a hidden gem, although probably not for much longer.Parking: There’s a significant curb to get over to get into the parking lot. “This was a perfect place to meet a friend for lunch. Our food arrived hot and our server was gracious and pleasant. We felt no need to hurry but we're able to longer and enjoy a good visit with one another. It was my first visit to The Local but it won't be my last. Be careful, though, as you may miss it because, at first glance, it looks like a house! BTW, the fries are outstanding!“
“This is a small gem. The food is delicious. I love the fact that they have a grilled cheese menu. The pizza is good, and even have a gluten free option. Sometimes it will be crowed & other times I will be able to corner up and play dice w the bartenders. I enjoy both! It has a dart board, a handful of slot machines and cold beer.“

“Love love love their boneless wings. Lightly breaded and good amount of sauce. Always ask what the specail sauce is, they arent listed on the menu. Very well priced for the food and quality. Fun atmosphere with plenty of Bar space and/or longer high top tables to accomodate a group of adults comfortably. My fav sauce is the greek freak (bufflo/feta). Anytime we are in the area its a must stop for us.“
“Stumbled upon this place while in Milwaukee for work. It is located not far from my airport hotel. Great neighborhood bar with a lot of locals. Talked to several, and they were all very friendly. The bartender, Erin, was very friendly, fast service, and liked to smile and joke around a little. Drinks were good, and the prices were too. I ordered a pizza around 9pm. Came out in a reasonable amount of time and was better than expected. Will definitely stop back in next time I'm in town.Vegetarian options: A few options for vegetarians. “My husband was told about this place from his boss. We decided to give it a try. We are so glad we did. The food was amazing. Went on a Friday and it was packed but got a table right away. The only negative thing I have is, the clam chowder soup could use smaller potatoes and more clams. Other than that the soup is a 5 out of 5 for flavor. The shrimp dinner I got had HUGE breaded shrimp. My husband got the breaded cod, very good. And let's talk about the coleslaw. I haven't had a decent slaw in yrs and this is sooooo good, if you like it creamy. We highly recommend this place. And we will definitely go back.....“
“I stopped in for lunch and ordered the Italian beef wraps and I was NOT disappointed!!!!! They were absolutely delicious. Great crunch, great texture, and it finished with the right amount of heat. It was so good to me that I didn't even use the dipping sauce!! Thanks for the great food!!!!“
“Food was delicious but a little bit too greasy for us. The tartar sauce was different. I would suggest maybe putting a tiny bit of macintosh apple in there. The coleslaw was not sweet what I'm used to. It was very sour so I don't know if it's supposed to taste like that or if it was old. My son wanted to try the chicken tenders but they don't serve them on the same days as fish fries. My son ended up getting the last burger. They were all out after that. Not sure if this happens often but I felt bad for the people that came in after us that left because they were there for burgers. Service was a little slow. The atmosphere was a little too dark for us. Overall I give this a four star.“

“This was our first time trying Braun’s Power House. We ordered a couple fish fry’s to go and were not disappointed! The food was excellent, 3 good size pieces of fried cod, delicious batter and flavor on the cod, great fries, great tarter and coleslaw. I wouldn’t hesitate to grab a fish fry from here again!“
