“Stopped for a burger after a business meeting, burger was thick and cooked to perfection,
The bar tender was attentive , personable and friendly,
I don’t normally post about places I go but it was worth the stop, about 3 minutes from the interstate so not out of the way , extremely good tasting well prepared and as pleasant presentation as you can ask for with a thick patty burger ,and you can tell it’s a small town happy to see you atmosphere.
I will definitely be back, maybe even try a breakfast as the menu items sounded delicious“

“Absolutely amazing, all around! Food, service, everything. Shrimp sweet and delicious. Scallops silky soft and smooth, seared great and so tasty! Bacon wrapped asparagus is killer good. Prime rib sandwich is pillow soft, so flavorful and satisfying. Great garlic and herb butter seasoning on everything. I had a nasty respiratory infection a couple months prior, hadn't been able to taste much of anything for over two months... until coming here. I could taste the amazing flavor cooked into all of our items for the first time since getting sick. This was probably about the most satisfying dining experience I've ever had. Love it and can't wait to go back!!!“

“Friday’s lunch took me to Dale Z’s On Tour at 3585 S Howell Ave, Milwaukee, WI, for the 4th installment of my Fish Fry adventures for 2025. The meal provided a satisfying experience, with a few small areas that could be improved, but overall, a good choice if you're craving a pleasant fish fry. Options for the Fish Fry: Friday Fish Fry – $12.95 for 3 pieces of cod (fried, baked, or blackened), served with coleslaw, buttered marble rye, lemon, tartar sauce, and a choice of fries, potato pancakes (2), or Soup of the Day. Additional cod is $2.95, and tartar sauce is $0.50. Apple sauce or maple syrup available by request. Shrimp Fry – $13.95 for 8 crispy butterflied shrimp, coleslaw, buttered marble rye, lemon, cocktail sauce, and a choice of fries, potato pancakes (2), or Soup of the Day. Additional shrimp is $4.95, and cocktail sauce is $0.50. Apple sauce or maple syrup available by request. In addition to the fish fry options, there was a Side of Potato Pancakes for $3.95, and the Soup of the Day was clam chowder—available in cup ($3.95), bowl ($4.95), or quart to-go ($11.95). The Meal: I went solo this time and started with a cup of clam chowder, followed by the Friday Fish Fry—fried cod with fries. Clam Chowder: While the clam chowder wasn’t the most exciting, it was still decent. It was missing a few of the key ingredients I typically love in chowder, like salted pork, onions, and celery. The texture wasn’t as creamy as I’d prefer, and the potatoes were a bit mushy, but the flavor itself was satisfying enough. It was a nice way to start the meal Fish Fry: The fried cod was pleasant. It was thinly battered and not greasy. The fries were the standard kind you’d expect—nothing fancy, but good. Honestly, I’d go for the potato pancakes next time, as I think they’d complement the fish better than fries. The coleslaw was fresh and creamy, providing a nice contrast to the crispy fish. Shrimp Fry: The Shrimp Fry ($13.95) caught my eye as well, and from the looks of it, it was a solid choice for shrimp lovers. It comes with 8 crispy butterflied shrimp, which are golden and perfectly fried—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. The shrimp are served with cocktail sauce for dipping, and the same sides as the fish fry (coleslaw, buttered marble rye, fries or pancakes). I didn’t try the shrimp this time, but the plate looked well-balanced and a great alternative to the fish. Overall Value: The total for my meal came to $25.21 including tip, which included the cup of clam chowder, the fish fry, and a coke. I felt the price was fair for the portion sizes and the quality of the food. Plus, the service was friendly and attentive, making the experience enjoyable. Final Thoughts: Overall, Dale Z’s On Tour offers a solid fish fry with good value and friendly service. While the chowder wasn’t my favorite and the fries were standard, the fish was pleasant, and the shrimp fry is a great option if you’re in the mood for another seafood option. If you're in the Milwaukee area and looking for a reliable fish fry, Dale Z’s is definitely worth a stop. I will make sure to try the potato pancakes next time!“

“I’ve lived in Milwaukee since August & this has quickly become my go-to wing place with my girlfriend (who introduced me to it last year). We come here weekly like clockwork now - before moving here it was my choice when I’d come up from IL to visit (when it was my time to pick) - for the Jacks, Ecto Cooler & the Parm fries but also for the EXCEPTIONAL service by Katie. She helps me navigate this large, fabulous menu & she has never steered us wrong. She is so knowledgeable, fast & friendly. I only wish every place had a Katie to accent a menu this delicious. Nom nom nom. Run, don’t walk here.“

“Super cool little corner bar! They have a very good amount of drink options, I even asked for something I didn't think they would have and they had it. Service was great and the prices were more than fair. I also liked that they had security after it got dark, definitely makes me feel comfortable. They had a pretty decent pool table and lots of video games to play. They also had a DJ that started at 10 and he smashed it! I'll definitely be back with more friends to show. They have frozen pizza but I didn't try it.“

“Our planning team of Alumni from James Madison High School had our events for our 50th Class of 1975 reunion at the New Berlin Ale House. On Friday 10/17/25 a Meet and Greet was done in the massive bar area. We ordered pizzas and appetizers in advance . Daniel was in charge of our event. Kudos for providing courteous and accurate service by you and your Bar tendering staff. We had over 100 people, most who had not seen each other in decades. Our Alumni enjoyed the event. So kudos. On Sat. Night 10/18/25 we used the banquet room for a buffet dinner, dancing, cash bar. The food was so good that that people are still talking about how wonderful the buffet was. GM Eric L booked our group 14 months ahead of our date and worked with our committee to provide a wonderful experience for our participating alumni. Kudos. And Kudos to Assistant Manager Courtney for making sure everything was run on time and bar service was excellent. The banquet room can hold comfortably about 250 guests, white table cloths covered our Round table which we sat for 8 guests each, we opted for rolled silverware in a green linen napkins. The room is beautiful as nice as any hotel that caters special events. Banquet has its own separate entrance with plenty of parking. I am so happy we chose this venue. And we recommend it to people seeking a personal experience of event planning with staff that can execute consecutive nights for all to remember. Thank you again. You made 135, 68 year olds extremely happy to have this lovely venue to celebrate this very special milestone in our lives.“
“My neighborhood "cheers". I moved to the area 2yrs ago, and I just started visiting this place in the summer. I like it here. There's always good vibes. Sarah and Dawn are awesome! Sarah makes the best wings and they have a nice variety of flavors! The drinks are well made, and the prices are affordable. It's a nice place for a quick bite to eat and a drink after work. Game days are always a go!“

“If you are not Caucasian or white Anglo-Saxon Protestant, do NOT go to this bar. Wisconsin is already one of the most segregated states in the country, and Foxes proves it the moment you walk in.
I entered wearing a $15,000 sheared mink coat and carrying a Louis Vuitton bag — clearly not riffraff, clearly not someone arriving to cause trouble. My boyfriend, who is Puerto Rican, was dressed appropriately as well. We looked polished, put-together, and fashionable.
And yet the security guard, who was slurring his words, immediately put his hands on my boyfriend the second we sat down. His excuse? “Your pants are sagging.” They were not. This wasn’t about a dress code. This wasn’t about safety. This was racial profiling — blatant, obvious, and unprovoked. I put my bag on the barstool, took my fur off and immediately in less than two minutes problems based on purely our appearance. Which is how racism works actually.
I am African American, and as soon as they saw we weren’t white, the tone shifted. This place caters strictly to white patrons and the few Hispanic customers willing to tolerate disrespect. Everyone else is treated as a problem before they even order a drink.
Coming from New York City, I know nightlife, I know professionalism, and I know discriminatory behavior when I see it. Foxes is a disgrace to hospitality and a danger to anyone who isn’t white.
If you value dignity or basic respect, don’t go where you are not welcome.“
