“We had a buffet lunch at Bullwinkle’s May 2, 2025, to celebrate my wife’s life. There were about 60 guests. Everything was excellent! It was more than expected. The food choices were great and the meal was outstanding. Management and staff treated us like members of their own families. They were not intrusive or hovering and provided loving care for this special occasion. They even allowed us to bring specialty desserts, for which they provided plates, utensils and carry-out containers. It was very reasonably priced. I was so impressed that I am posting this on several websites. In addition to all the superlatives above, I would rate them 5 out of 5 stars – higher! Did I say exemplary? Most highly recommended. “Absolutely amazing, all around! Food, service, everything. Shrimp sweet and delicious. Scallops silky soft and smooth, seared great and so tasty! Bacon wrapped asparagus is killer good. Prime rib sandwich is pillow soft, so flavorful and satisfying. Great garlic and herb butter seasoning on everything. I had a nasty respiratory infection a couple months prior, hadn't been able to taste much of anything for over two months... until coming here. I could taste the amazing flavor cooked into all of our items for the first time since getting sick. This was probably about the most satisfying dining experience I've ever had. Love it and can't wait to go back!!!“
“Great place, great atmosphere, and awesome prices! We had a big group go and Jim was the only guy working everything (bar, check in, kitchen) but he did an awesome job and took amazing care of everyone! Highly recommend this place to anyone !!!“

“A hidden gem on North Ave. Great food and beverage selection. Front of the house staff is friendly and George and the staff in the kitchen keep churning out amazing food. Must tries are the steak sandwich, the fried chicken, and the smoked pork chop(when it appears on the menu).“

“Really cool place. Lots of tvs with sports on. Surprisingly good BBQ and Meatloaf. Higher quality than most bar food. While the servers are usually friendly, getting someone to actually come to your table to help you is pretty difficult and can be a little annoying. Also has great trivia on Wednesdays. Besides the slow service, I like this place.“

“I’ve lived in Milwaukee since August & this has quickly become my go-to wing place with my girlfriend (who introduced me to it last year). We come here weekly like clockwork now - before moving here it was my choice when I’d come up from IL to visit (when it was my time to pick) - for the Jacks, Ecto Cooler & the Parm fries but also for the EXCEPTIONAL service by Katie. She helps me navigate this large, fabulous menu & she has never steered us wrong. She is so knowledgeable, fast & friendly. I only wish every place had a Katie to accent a menu this delicious. Nom nom nom. Run, don’t walk here.“

“They don't have prices on the menu for everything. It says MP which stands for Market Price. You have to ask the server what the price is, then they have to look it up to get you the answer. Seems like a waste of time to make a decision on what your going to eat. I had the fish fry which had a price and it was good.“
“Great place. Love to go here! Tommy is awsome!“

“Spanky’s Hideaway
I’ve driven by Spanky’s Hideaway countless times — it’s tucked away among neighborhood homes off County Line Road — but I finally stopped in for dinner today, and wow. I was genuinely blown away.
The barbecue wings were outstanding. These are real wings straight off the grill — no frying — and they were absolutely phenomenal. But what truly stole the show was the French onion soup. I’ve had French onion soup four or five times a year for the past three decades, and without question, this was the best I’ve ever had. Hands down.
It’s worth coming here for the soup alone. The cheese is so generous and perfectly melted that you literally need scissors to cut through it (see the photo — and even that doesn’t do it justice).
I also have to call out our waitress, Ashli. She was fantastic — clearly working incredibly hard, serving what felt like half the restaurant, yet still delivering warm, attentive, and thoughtful service on a very busy night. That kind of effort doesn’t go unnoticed.
Spanky’s is a fun, small, unpretentious spot with incredible food — a true hidden gem in Mequon. Highly recommend.“

“No better way to start a Brewers game than to go to Kelly's Bleachers. Affordable eats, small menu, delicious food and any drink you could ever want! Best part is when you are done, jump on their shuttle service to the ballpark! Clean, friendly service takes you directly to the front gate. What else could you ask for! They will also bring you back after the game.“

“Great bar good but not typical, eg the usual French Dip is called an Irish Dip, served with sliced tenderloin steak. Cheese and Brat soup for game day. Wings are delicious with lots of sauces.
On Brewers game days their lot fills up fast, but there's plenty of neighborhood street parking.“

“Found this place on a whim by searching food near me on our way home from St. Lukes. We checked out the menu and were sold! I must say the food was hot and tasty! I had the Onion Burger, My friend the Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos. The serving size were plentiful. We will definitely be back and we'll spread the word !! Keep it Up!!“

“Our planning team of Alumni from James Madison High School had our events for our 50th Class of 1975 reunion at the New Berlin Ale House. On Friday 10/17/25 a Meet and Greet was done in the massive bar area. We ordered pizzas and appetizers in advance . Daniel was in charge of our event. Kudos for providing courteous and accurate service by you and your Bar tendering staff. We had over 100 people, most who had not seen each other in decades. Our Alumni enjoyed the event. So kudos. On Sat. Night 10/18/25 we used the banquet room for a buffet dinner, dancing, cash bar. The food was so good that that people are still talking about how wonderful the buffet was. GM Eric L booked our group 14 months ahead of our date and worked with our committee to provide a wonderful experience for our participating alumni. Kudos. And Kudos to Assistant Manager Courtney for making sure everything was run on time and bar service was excellent. The banquet room can hold comfortably about 250 guests, white table cloths covered our Round table which we sat for 8 guests each, we opted for rolled silverware in a green linen napkins. The room is beautiful as nice as any hotel that caters special events. Banquet has its own separate entrance with plenty of parking. I am so happy we chose this venue. And we recommend it to people seeking a personal experience of event planning with staff that can execute consecutive nights for all to remember. Thank you again. You made 135, 68 year olds extremely happy to have this lovely venue to celebrate this very special milestone in our lives.“

If you’re haven’t been, you need to check it out! Super cool spot in a prime location – especially if you’re a Brewer fan! Can’t beat it. A++“

“My neighborhood "cheers". I moved to the area 2yrs ago, and I just started visiting this place in the summer. I like it here. There's always good vibes. Sarah and Dawn are awesome! Sarah makes the best wings and they have a nice variety of flavors! The drinks are well made, and the prices are affordable. It's a nice place for a quick bite to eat and a drink after work. Game days are always a go!“

“If you are not Caucasian or white Anglo-Saxon Protestant, do NOT go to this bar. Wisconsin is already one of the most segregated states in the country, and Foxes proves it the moment you walk in.
I entered wearing a $15,000 sheared mink coat and carrying a Louis Vuitton bag — clearly not riffraff, clearly not someone arriving to cause trouble. My boyfriend, who is Puerto Rican, was dressed appropriately as well. We looked polished, put-together, and fashionable.
And yet the security guard, who was slurring his words, immediately put his hands on my boyfriend the second we sat down. His excuse? “Your pants are sagging.” They were not. This wasn’t about a dress code. This wasn’t about safety. This was racial profiling — blatant, obvious, and unprovoked. I put my bag on the barstool, took my fur off and immediately in less than two minutes problems based on purely our appearance. Which is how racism works actually.
I am African American, and as soon as they saw we weren’t white, the tone shifted. This place caters strictly to white patrons and the few Hispanic customers willing to tolerate disrespect. Everyone else is treated as a problem before they even order a drink.
Coming from New York City, I know nightlife, I know professionalism, and I know discriminatory behavior when I see it. Foxes is a disgrace to hospitality and a danger to anyone who isn’t white.
If you value dignity or basic respect, don’t go where you are not welcome.“

“My wife and I attended the Brewers game on April 1st. We used the shuttle at Jackson's Blue Ribbon Pub to get to the ballpark. Before we rode to the game we enjoyed an order of cheese curds and a Bloody Mary. Both the cheese curds and the drinks were delicious. The shuttle drips you off and picks you up just outside the Home Plate entrance. What a great way to get to and from the game. We will definitely do this again. Thanks to everyone at Jackson's for their hospitality and service.“
“I’ve been going to this bar since I was 18 years old.“
“Honestly it's one of the only bars that are still open around 1:00 a.m. I'm a second shifter.
Since my last video I have been there for the past 3 years or so. The weeknd's are very busy with the college crowd. But if you go on the weeknights it's a lot laid-back and comfortable. They also have many events going on during the weekday as well. Including video bingo on Wednesday evenings, then 1/2 tappers after!“
