“Drove by on the way to hike Natural Bridge State Park and decided we would stop the next time we hiked in the area. Glad we did. Leroy and Connie run a great establishment. Burger was fantastic. Beers cold and cheap (compared to where we are from) and atmosphere was great. Will definitely be back!”

“It's only 15 minutes from the large resorts by the dells. All the food was great. We had the shrimp fettuccine, and Chicken Caprice. The homemade bread topped with minced garlic and a drizzle of butter was a great start and kept our 6 year olds water for a bit.Our server was great. He made sure we had everything we needed both for our dinner and the leftovers.Worth the drive to avoid the crowded nearby options. Better still if you're already nearby.”

“Food here was great and not expensive.We were in town celebrating my son’s birthday. I asked our server if they could do something special for him. So they gave him a nice sized danish with a candle , and the entire staff along with the the other guests in the restaurant sang happy birthday to him. He was so surprised and elated with a smile from ear to ear. This warmed my heart almost to tears. The staff was very warm , attentive and welcoming . I highly recommend this restaurant. It was very clean, we were seated immediately in a comfortable booth, and the food was prepared fast. If we come back to the Dells this will be our breakfast spot. Thanks BJ’s !”

“An absolute gem. Taco plate, pretzel board app, and cheeseburger sliders were all top notch. The beer-on-tap system is GENIUS... take (and pay for) EXACTLY as much as you want. No one oz, two oz, etc options. Just pour as much or little as you want (why hasn't this method taken over all other self-pour places?!)”

“I am in Baraboo for a few weeks I am trying to visit all the local shops thst have been recommended. This coffee shop is on the square. Bright esthetic with a slightly macabre twist. I had my latte for here, not to go. The glass large cup was a delightful throw back. If you are ever in Baraboo ypu must stop by. I would love the sweatshirt logo an a v neck shirt. Food was not rated, I did not have any.”

“We had a party of 8 for 6:00pm and we showed up early and they still sat us. We originally thought we were getting a regular table but they sat us in a separate room which we didn't mind at all just didn't expect. Service was terrific and fast everyone was so welcoming our server destiny was amazing and being our first time here coming from Illinois we really appreciated the service we got. Food was amazing definitely recommend the ribeye and roasted chicken. I would definitely come back”

My husband had the pork belly Benny and he said it was delicious and the pork belly was perfectly crisp. The beer was great and unique and so were the bloody marys. “The service and atmosphere here is very unique. The prices are fair and portions decent. Some things are hit and miss, but never terrible or mediocre. They do lack a bit of consistency sometimes with their recipes/dishes. The apple pancakes were the best I’ve ever had. Comfort food for sure!”

“So, my wife and I have visited quite a few winerys. My wife is really into it and I just kind of tag along, although I have learned a little bit in the last few years. I have to say that the wines at Balanced Rock are probably the best I have ever had! They tasted exactly as they were described!I wish we lived closer because this would be a really cool place to hang out! The outdoors area is beautiful and very relaxing!”

“My hubby and I recently got the chance to go to this cute little wine shop in the middle of the quaint village of Baraboo. With so many wineries to choose from, we are so happy that we chose this one. We opted for the 4 course wine and food pairing and also got to sample their other delicious fruit wines and let me tell you... If we did not have a weight restriction going home to Belgium, we would have bought a bottle of each of them. They are all super delicious and could each function as a dessert or regular wine. Also, the owner, Kenn, is just a delight to talk to and be guided by. You can tell this winery is his passion and it shows through his warmth, his knowledge, his hospitality and his enthusiasm. If you are hesitating whether to go here, don't! And make sure you have some room in your vehicle for all the wine you will be buying. (P.s. the old fashioneds he makes are out of this world! And the premix is available for sale. Of course we bought one. Highly recommend that as well!)”

“Stopped in just before 10 am on a Sunday. Line out the door. Thought about leaving but the line disappeared as if by magic. Instead of magic, they have inhumanly quick, incredibly friendly workers. Coffee is great. Whenever I'm in town before or after camping/climbing, this is our spot.”
