The name is misleading. They don’t make chocolate, they serve delicious subs and superior quality ice cream. You know they’re doing something right since they’ve been open for nearly 50 years. They make their own bread for the subs and it is something special. Since I graduated from high school in ‘79, back then this was the hang out like happy days had in the 50’s. We got a couple of sandwiches. One sub and another Croissant Sandwich, Blackberry Turkey (I like new/novel foods). Both were excellent.
They serve Chocolate Shoppe IceCream so we saved room for a couple of cones. If you like chocolate with interesting textures and flavors, pick the "Sticks and Stones". You won't be disappointed.
