Moved up here from Chicago and overwhelmingly delighted to find this gem. Their spicy salmon hand rooo is to die for as well as the Tempura Appetizer. Well worth the drive to Portage. Clean and frugal.
I’ve been coming here for years now and have never had a bad experience. The food is always amazing as well as the service. Many times it’s just one woman working (maybe the owner) and she does such an amazing job keeping up with all the tables and making sure your cup never goes empty. It’s a very clean establishment, even the bathroom. I’ve also done takeout here and they’re great for that as well! I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who’s looking...
They did not have any fried rice at lunch, ummm.......it's lunch! There wasn't that many people there, so that was weird. Service took a long time to get to us, there wasn't many people there. So probably won't be going back.
