Chester's Chicken is known for its delicious fried chicken, often considered better than competitors. The fried chicken is particularly popular, with some calling it the best in town. While the sides may not be a standout, the service is praised as excellent. The restaurant accepts EBT and has a gas station onsite. Customers appreciate the "hole in the wall" atmosphere and the convenience of the local gas station/store. The biscuits and variety of fried foods, including chicken strips and gizzards, are also well-liked.
