“We were greeted at the door by our server. She was very friendly and responsive. We ordered bread sticks,boneless wings and thin crust 1/2pepperoni and 1/2veggie pizza. The food was great. Service great. Dining room needs a good vacuum, food under tables,etc. only one other diner in the place.“

“Desperados has a great Friday night fish fry! The blue gill is amazing and the hash browns with cheese and onions are delicious. The soup and salad bar is a meal on its own. They always offer 3 soups and a salad bar that has cheese, eggs, tomatoes, olives, peas, onions (to name a few toppings) plus coleslaw, broccoli salad, potato salad, fruit and pudding. S/S bar also includes buns, crackers, cheese spread and a variety of dressings. We look forward to Friday night fish fry’s here-you are greeted with a smile and the service is fast and friendly! “Small town cafe with a big city taste! My wife had the Mac n cheese for her entree. Absolutely fabulous. Served in a cast iron skillet which added to presentation…but the taste…delicious. I had the burger. I was a little hesitant to order the burger as I’ve been disappointed by burgers so many times. But before I get to the burger let’s start with the fries. Cooked to perfection! Crispy, warm, and full of delicious French Fry flavor. Now the burger…you know how some places dress up a burger all over only to forget about the burger itself? Well that’s not what is happening here…the bun was great, the house sauce was great, the greens were crisp, the cheese was amazing, but the burger was so full of flavor and it was the star of the dish! That was a 5 star burger!! 🍔 Best I’ve had in Wisconsin since moving here 2 years ago. Job well done Driftless Cafe…well worth the hour drive here. Keep the flavors coming….till next time!!“

“We stopped in from a 700 mile motorcycle ride from sturgis back to Tennessee, the staff is amazing., the owner is equally amazing and is one heluva cook . I got the wagu steak and it was delicious! 10/10 stars and highly recommend making this place a destination.“
