“The other night we were headed to a friend‘s house and were in need of some dessert to bring along. My husband and I didn’t realize that Saint Croix Baking Company closed at 5 PM and it was already nearly 4:50 as we were making our way to the shop. I called and spoke with a woman named Olivia. She could not have been more helpful or delightful to speak with. She was more than happy to assist us with getting some desserts and said she would be around a little bit after close, wrapping things up at the shop and not to worry about arriving after 5 PM. She had our order boxed up and met us at the door when we arrived a few minutes after close. Good customer service is so hard to find these days! Olivia was not only friendly, she seemed genuinely excited to help us and wasn’t put out by our last-minute request whatsoever. Wonderful job, Olivia! Thank you so much for saving our night and helping us get some delicious desserts. Everything we ordered was incredible. Nice job on all accounts, St. Croix Baking Company.“

“Ordered a full sheet of Ho ho cake at the Roseville location. From the online order to the pick up... absolute perfection. Everyone was so friendly and if they didn't know they found out the answer. I didn't have to worry if the cake was going to be exactly what I was hoping for. AND the taste... so many compliments. Definitely will be back for more cakes from here. Worth the hour and a half drive from home for it!!“

This was our first time in. The bread, pretzels and atmosphere are fantastic, but the young man working the counter is lacking in customer service etiquette. To be kind, my wife asked to try one of their small pretzel samples in a basket on the counter, displayed so people could sample before buying. We were headed to for a birthday picnic with our kids and thought homemade pretzels would be a nice addition! The young man working the counter said “no, those are for kids, do you have any kids you could bring in they can have one”. That definitely set a bad tone, causing my wife to take a step back. I purchased some bread and of course a pretzel for my wife. I tipped the young man and asked him to use the cash for payment for any future ladies ask to sample one of their pretzel samples. I believe he just needs a little coaching from ownership…“

“We were on the way home from visiting family in Illinois. When we decided to stop for gas, when I happened upon this place. Even though they were closed, they had some fresh looking cinnamon rolls for purchase. I do have to say that when we got home, this roll still tastes good. Of course putting it into the microwave for a few seconds helped to make it as if it just came out of the oven. The ooey gooeyness was just what I was craving, and an end to a weekend trip to visit family. I felt that even though the roll was big, it was easily shared with another family member since it was so huge. Next time, we stop here, worth most definitely going back to.“
