Rush River Brewing Company Brewery • $
990 Antler Ct, River Falls

“Big fan of Rush River. Laid back atmosphere, friendly staff and all are welcome. Beer is all good and the price is right. Only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because they should have more live bands and better bands. We love the live music scene and there are a lot of good choices around the area. Other than that… I’m a huge fan and try to stop by once a week. So, if you’re in the area stop by for a beer for sure!!“

“Great beer! Amazing pizza! Wonderful staff! We stopped in on a Sunday with our kids for pizza. We had a mild hiccup with our order but the staff was quick to resolve the issue, so good that I even hesitated to say anything. The whole experience was great. We got to hang out in a super chill environment, enjoy their made in house sodas and beer, eat the yummiest pizzas made with the meats made by them and felt so welcomed the whole time.We look forward to returning and bringing friends with us next time.“

“What a cute place! Lots of things to look at and Wow, the tea selection is huge! I met my sisters for breakfast and we had speedy and friendly service. Portobelo mushroom and bacon waffle got good reviews. Very tasty. The jalepeno and spicy sausage quiche got excellent reviews. Had a good kick! The scrambled eggs looked great and tasted good. Just a tiny bit on the dry side. The fresh fruit that came with our orders included orange and pineapple slices as well as a few green grapes. All were appropriately juicy and were refreshing. I had the masala chai tea (black) and that was good too. I would definitely come back and try items off lunch menu.“

“I went here with Debra R, Jose R and a couple of people a few days ago. I had the breakfast ale. Debra R had a stout beer. The other people had a stout and a light color beer. I also got a cute hat. The beer was good and the service was good too. The place has some cool pinball machines and an industrial ambiance that I enjoyed.“

Cracked Barrel Winery Wineries •
570 Coulee Trail, Hudson - 5.81 miles

“I had no idea this winery existed prior to our visit. We stopped in on a Saturday as soon as they opened. Due to being the first ones there we had the whole place to ourselves. The place was small, but charming and the staff were very friendly. We opted with the sampler, and I loved that we got to pick what we wanted to try. Not every winery let's you select your tasting. We picked a couple of whites, a rose and some reds. Overall I wasn't a huge fan of any of them- but I like very sweet wine and well cocktails lol. My husband on the other hand ended up getting two bottles of white wine so clearly my tastebuds are off. We had a fun time visiting the winery and I think we would stop back if we are ever in the area again. The whole thing took maybe 30 minutes and was a great way to start our weekend!“

“I ordered a Spotted Cow, as soon as the gal had time. I get annoyed when the bartender is messing with anything but serving food, booze or money transactions. I have no idea what she was doing to have taken so long to ask for the beer and a menu. I was famished. I ordered from a young man and asked which he recommended, the steak sandwich or burgers, he said burger. I ordered the $17.00 Forager Smash with onion rings. The sauce was funky tasting “mayonnaise truffle” and the burger a little too well done and dried out for my taste. I asked for medium rare and expected a juicy burger. Ya, for $17 bucks I want what I ask for! When I am famished almost anything tastes good, but not this. I am no expert on truffle mayo, so maybe that threw me off. If it was made wrong or spoiled, I wouldn’t know the difference, but I won’t order that again. One man band was pretty good playing his guitar and singing. If I had money to lose, I may have gambled or bought some pull tabs.I will go back for a weekend eve with my adult kids, and think they’ll like the vibe. The bar area appears mostly clean, but I didn’t walk around to see everything or use the restroom. There are two levels and I had a view of the St Croix River, the one man band, and everyone coming in and going out. I liked my seat at the bar choice a lot!The bill came and I added a 23% tip, but only the meal portion appeared to be deducted from my bank account. Not sure what happened there, but will definitely be back and make up for that soon.I’m gonna try the steak sandwich next time! Sit in the same spot! Appreciate the atmosphere and local hospitality! All good for going in too hungry 4*s all day long and hoping to give them 5* on my next experience ?️?“

“LOVE the Key's in Hudson! Last week I ordered a Valentine Chocolate House Cake and it was amazing (as it has been EVERY year that I've ordered one since they started offering these cakes!). Today I dined in with a friend and I had the new Corned Beef Benny and it was amazing+. Our server was attentive and the coffee kept coming. We were catching up and did not feel pressured to quickly leave the minute we were done with our meals. I have been to other Key's locations and while all are good . . . The Hudson Key's is the BEST!“
