“I stopped here around 7 PM on a Saturday as I was on my way to Rockford, Illinois. This is a quaint little diner, clean and with a good layout. I ordered Jumbo Shrimp dinner and coffee, and it was excellent. There is a very good selection of items on the menu generally. The server later brought out the dessert tray to show me what was available, which was really a nice touch even though I seldom order desserts. It was quiet when I was there, with only a few other customers. Both the server and the cook/manager checked on me and asked me how my meal was, so they clearly are customer-focused and quality-oriented. I will definitely stop here again!“

“I loved going here for a school field trip! I like how you can choose different things to customize each game, like a birthday party or disco-themed game. The food is great and I recommend buying some when you go. There's also a small arcade where you can play some games if you get tired of just bowling. I think I might visit again sometime! “Stopped for dinner after attending a sporting event at N Boone HS. The bartender (who was the only one working so she was also our server) was super friendly. You could tell she was busy, but she made time to check on us and get drink refills. The food was really good - awesome fries! “Out on a friend’s boat, and stopped for drinks and snacks. Service was good. Drinks were good. Food is typical bar stuff- made from frozen. Had some pizza and wings and taco bites. Prices fair. Has a couple of docks that fill up pretty quick, so some folks have to float around in the water while waiting for a chance to tie up, but it all works out. Music playing, darts, and cornhole. Lively atmosphere.“

“This place excelled in what we were looking for: casual but not grubby and good food reasonably priced. Our hostess/ server, Corinne , was so cordial and welcoming. I had the meatloaf sandwich which was very good, my friend had the Chicago hot dog, large and tasty. This pub/bar is in the far reaches of the Lake Lawn Lodge resort, a bit of a hike from the parking lot, so ask directions if you're a first time visitor!“
