“Cougar lanes has great food and drinks. They also have a beautiful volleyball court with outdoor seating. The bowling is reasonable and they run specials. The lanes are very nice and there is a small arcade area too. They have glow bowling and leagues as well.“

“My wife and I dined here today. We had blueberry pancakes and a broccoli and cheese omelette, followed by carrot cake. All were perfect. Prices were fair. The service was friendly and helpful. We were fortunate to have met the owner, who was quite welcoming and warm. Great experience, highly recommended.“
“What a great dining experience with my 3 granddaughters. The cashier Sonya was very patient and helpful assisting each of the girls with their kids meal options. The order arrived quickly and was correct. The dining area had plenty of tables to choose from but some tables needed to be cleaned. We had enough saved tokens to get a Culver's prize. They chose a kick-ball and Sonya offered to inflate the ball for them. Wow, great service with a smile. This really made our visit special! We came back about 1.5 hours later to use custard coupons from kids meal. Again, great service and really enjoyed Custard of the Day.Kid-friendliness: The cashier had a handy chart showing the different options for a kid's meal. My kiddos could look at the pictures and choose the items they wanted quickly and easily.“

“If you read my reviews, you know we are looking for the best bar burger around. Had to try the Boars Nest for the first time. Easy to find - just look for the Dukes of Hazard car on the rooftop. Very clean with the hometown friendly feeling. Waitress was so nice and gave us great service. My husband said the hamburger was good and really liked that they sliced the onions very thin. I will definitely order the chicken stack sandwich - grilled chicken with garlic flavoring and cheese on a broche bun with lettuce tomatoe and onion. We enjoyed our lunch on a chilly day. It was a little chilly inside, but we are in Wisconsin, and we like the cold . We are keeping this on our list to try the fish on friday. Give it a try. The prices were good too.“
“I stopped for lunch on a Monday at Noon, and I ordered the Hot Turkey sandwich along with a cup of soup.The soup was good, a little on the thick side, but I liked it. You could tell the Hot Turkey was sliced in house because it was thick pieces of very tender and juicy Turkey that was covered in a rich gravy. The mashed potatoes were good. Everything at this meal was good. The service was quick, and the place was clean and organized.Very good value for the money. I will be back.“

“This place is a gem in the middle of nowhere. Definitely worth the drive. They make milkshakes the old fashion way that are delish. Had one of the best tasting, freshest salads. The French toast is made from homemade bread. Everything the 4 of us ordered was fresh and tastey. The place was clean and the service was excellent. Just can't beat it for the prices. Will definite be going there again soon.“

Little kids may get impressed with the musical robot that brings your food with the waitress.We ordered: Prime rib sandwich, large salad and soup, Chili, Garlic mashed potatoes, Prime Rib dinner, Chicken sandwich, and the Bucky Burger, and the chocolate cake.Pro's: We were seated quickly, and a server was with us quickly. They were very friendly. They made a mistake with the order but left an extra cup of chili with us without charge. We noted how not many places would do that, and it stood out. The server also added, you can sit here as long as you like to talk, if you need anything let me know.The food was delicious! I don't think anyone complained about any of their dishes! “Visited twice for lunch in Feb 2024. The first time I had chicken tenders with tator-tots and cheese curds. Excellent tenders made with batter and not your typical crumb breading. Cheese curds were really good, as would be expected in Wisconsin. The second time I tried their Cuban sandwich, but I would not recommend it. It was disappointing - served on ciabatta bread with what seemed black forest ham and pulled pork. It was not pressed like a cubano should.The atmosphere was your typical sports bar. At lunch time it was rather quiet.“
“Haven't been here in a couple years because of bad service and ok food. We stopped in today because a coworker wanted to go here. It took a couple minutes to be greeted, so of course in my head, I'm thinking....here we go again. Then we were approached by our server and she took our drink order. When she returned, we asked for the wifi password and she didn't know what it was. Again, you know where my thoughts are going. She did return promptly with the wifi password written down for us and she apologized and let us know it was only her 2nd day. So now it's making more sense. She returned a few minutes later and took our order. She did seem to have a pretty good grasp on the menu for only her 2nd day. The food came out out hot and pretty quick. The food itself is above average bar food. Definitely better than I remembered! She checked on us often and refilled drinks. Overall was a great experience and will be back on a more frequent basis.Vegetarian options: Plenty of options to choose from.Parking: Huge parking lotKid-friendliness: Has a separate restaurant side away from the bar area geared more for families.Wheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp inside to get up to the restrooms.“
“As a Wisco native, Culver's tastes and feels like home to me. I love a good butter burger and the creamy frozen custard. My teen/adult kids will fight over the cheese curds. But the Beloit store leaves a lot to be desired. This location is always busy. There is typically a drive-through line that wraps the building and blocks the parking lot. The solution they have come up with was to add more parking spaces reserved for those waiting on drive-through orders to be brought out to them. So you pull ahead or off to the side so they can take more orders, even though they haven't cooked yours. The inside is also busy, even though it is hard to get into a parking space bc it is blocked by the drive-through line. Apparently, Culver's has territories where other franchise owners can not encroach upon. But it would be fantastic if this owner would open another building in Beloit or maybe in S.Beloit near the I90 exits. We would be here more often if we didn't have to worry about waiting 30-40 minutes in line each time.“
