“A great independently owned local establishment. Half of the building is a family style restaurant, and the other half has a full bar with a lot of additional seating. They can accommodate some larger groups as well. The menu is the same for both sides and also serves breakfast all day. I believe Friday will be the only night that they will be open moving forward. We have eaten here several times, and the food is always delicious and very consistent. The owners are super friendly and are always there working.“
“Love it. First time coming here and they did not disappoint. First off the ambiance is really nice. It is super clean and so are the bathrooms. The salt, ketchup, etc were all clean with no sticky residue, food, etc. The waitresses were friendly and came to check on us a few times. Food came out hot and fresh very quickly. It was good quality meat. Everything was seasoned but not overly seasoned. It was just right. The prices are very reasonable and affordable. They don't stay open all hours though so check the hours so you can try this fine establishment.“

“Cozy bar and grill that gives you a down home feeling. Love the reclaimed wooden walls with tin. The tables were very cool too! They have a good amount of seating as well as a pretty large bar area. The bartenders were great even though they were short handed and were doing double duty and serving the food as well in the morning. They have a wonderful breakfast with good portion size. Food was fantastic and we had a short wait. Place was somewhat empty, few people but my husband and I overheard server talking to everyone since she already knew them which we loved. It’s always nice to hear workers have conversations with customers they know, you can tell they enjoy what they do. “Great place to enjoy a Friday night! We went to see a band play and had a blast. The cheese curds are so good but the portion size is barely enough for one person. Go for the giant pretzel if you want to share! Drinks are randomly priced I've been there twice and it was more expensive to get the same drink at the bar then when we ordered as a table. Service is very slow if you want to be waited on. Waitress was great but they seemed very short staffed as there was only one maybe two people waiting tables. Overall a good spot to bring friends and listen to some live music.Parking: Parking is available around the back of the building or across the street from the front entrance.“

“Great food, so much food! Appetizers: spinach and artichoke dip and melted cheese (I forget what) were yummy. Then soup, salad and our meals. Soups were good (baked French onion) salad portion was big and then the meals. Our party had, petite filet, prime rib and the dinner special of pork chops. We all left stuffed and well fed. Service was prompt and our server was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!“

“Ok let me start by saying they have one of the biggest selections of non-alcoholic beers. Service was absolutely amazing and the server was very knowledgeable of what they had in stock and what was not in stock. Being that we were there for Saint Patrick's Day they informed us that they did have green beer and they can make any beer green but it would be food coloring. They irritated everyone that sat around them with their negative attitudes because they complained about everything the entire time we were there. We had Kimberly as a waitress too and have had her before in the past and never have had a bad experience. Kimberly did her best to be patient with them while they were there. The two of them reminded me of two old "Karen's" that are never happy and complain about anything. We spoke with the people who sat on the other side of them and they complained about Janet and her guest's negative attitudes as well. Janet and her guest made the dining experience for everyone around them uncomfortable.My wife and I have been coming to eat at Sophia's for over 5 years and have always had good service. Sophia's serves homemade style comfort food and have always done their best to make sure we wanted to come back. They were very friendly. They made a mistake with the order but left an extra cup of chili with us without charge. We noted how not many places would do that, and it stood out. The server also added, you can sit here as long as you like to talk, if you need anything let me know.The food was delicious! I don't think anyone complained about any of their dishes! Most places breakfasts are similar, nothing especially stands out, although most are yummy. Here, however, I'm not sure what it was, but the hashbrowns had EXTRA FLAVOR the likes if which I've not experienced before. Perhaps they use special oil and/or spices? I ordered the SeniorTennessee Breakfast, which is a half order of biscuits and gravy, served with potatoes and an egg, any style. My brother had the Cinnamon Swirl Slammers, which is 2 egg and sausage sandwiches...OMG, SERIOUSLY DELICIOUS. I highly recommend Swedish Pancake House!“
