I’ve spent about 7 months of a pregnancy being repulsed by the idea of eating fish, and out of nowhere had the hankering today. The cod absolutely hit the spot & baby’s been kicking up a storm since I took my first few bites. The pieces are a good size, the beer batter is phenomenal. “Pleasantly surprised. This clean and multi purposeful property inspires big possibilities. But the best part of our first time visit to this off the beaten path bar, was the bartender JT. He worked his hiney off to keep our large birthday group happy while keeping a friendly eye on the regulars too. He was quick and polite with top notch service. The drinks he mixed were perfectly balanced to taste great. Because of his skill, I won't hesitate to stop in at Racers Hall again when the opportunity arises.“
“Under new ownership. We stopped for the grand reopening. Very clean, service was very good. They grind their own meat to make fresh burgers around a 1/3 lb. I had the Southern charm which came with fried green tomatoes and pimiento cheese toppings with a side of seasoned fries. My wife had the Yard Bird which is crispy fried chicken sandwich. Both were excellent. We are going to return to try the other eccentric burgers. Good job!“
“Their wings are the best. Unbelieveably crunchy and juicy. Sure, it takes about 20-30 minutes after ordering to get them, but that’s because they are made to order. So you can sit at the bar with a cold beer and watch them fry them. We sometimes get the wings to go. The Thai chili sauce is great. Servers are also very friendly.“
“Awesome local spot in between Milwaukee and Green Bay. In town to watch a chiefs game and dropped into Sly's for a brat and some local culture. Excellent friendly bar with quick service and a staple double brat sandwich. Sly swung by the table and we spoke about baseball. He gifted us a bottle of Dr. McGillicuddy on our way out. If I'm passing through again, definitely stopping at Sly's!“
