“Stopped on way to an Airbnb for a cold drink and some directions. Patrons told us to come back on Saturday for prime rib, we did and it was the best we have ever had! We had so much fun with Bob and Lou, they made us feel like family ❤️“

Dantes Bar and Grill Bar • $
312 Main St, Gays Mills

“Dante's was formerly the M&M Bar that is now under new ownership. They have a good menu and the food is very well prepared. I've had their Bacon Ranch Chicken Wrap and the Fried Shrimp Wrap several times and both are very good. The bar is well stocked with a selection of draft and bottle beer as well as mixed drinks. Prices are reasonable.“

Halver's Town Tap Bar • $
315 Main St, Gays Mills

“Halver's Town Tap is still the place to drink in Gays Mills, WI. It's the only bar left but rest assured it's not going anywhere. Plus they are adding LIVE Music at the beer tent on Friday night at Apple Fest 9/23/2011. The Pie City Twisters will be cranking out classic rock. Laura's kid brother will be spinning inside. Saturday night Beer Tent is local favorites the Dr. Rumley Snuff Band. This is a huge beer tent, lot's of room to move around and dance and not suffocate with wall to wall people. Check out Apple Festival 9/23-25th. It's still one of the best small town festivals in Wisconsin and you can't go home without apples from the Orchards on the Ridge. more info on www.facebook.com/gaysmills.wi“

Boondocks Sports Bar And Grill Bar • $
103 Guard St, Wauzeka

“This was our first time dining at Boondocks where we sampled the fried pickles and broccoli which were surprisingly good. Construction in the road made it hard to find parking but worth the dust and gravel. We had the AYCE Fish Fry (broiled was a fave) and a Grilled Chicken Wrap. Our only concern is bringing children in as some patrons tend to have a more colorful vocabulary than desired.“
