“Wow! Definitely going back! Portions were a good size and prices were great. Fish fry and burgers were amazing! Tried the cheese curds and the "pucks" and loved them both. I was a bit hesitant after reading reviews that said regulars were cold. I heartily disagree! We immediately found seats at the bar and my husband and I were both engaged in conversation with the regulars beside us right away. They were absolutely LOVELY and couldn't wait to help us place our order, acquire a table, and find the restroom. Their best advice- you can order different flavors on each piece of fish you order. I got to try several!“
“Pete's is my favorite bar in Steven's Point. It's not big, flashy, or fancy, and that's what makes it so great. Come to Pete's for a no frills, reasonably priced experience. The full restaurant menu of the Olympic family restaurant is available to you any time they're open. Can you get pancakes with a beer if you stop in there for breakfast? Damn right you can. This place is of, by, and for the regulars. Treat them with respect, and they'll make you a part of the club. If you think the proximity to campus means that it's a perfect spot to go turn up with your squad, think again. Pete's doesn't want that nonsense. Jeremy is hands down the best bartender in the city, and Ozzie, Hannah, and the rest of the team are great as well. There's karaoke every weekend, sports on the TVs, and a clientele that will make you feel like family.“
“Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon after a UWSP football game while on a colle visit with my kid. Service was top-notch, and the food was excellent. Depending on his decision where to attend will depend on our return, but I would highly recommend it to anyone I know visiting the area.“

My wife and I got the veggie pizza, thin crust and it was absolutely delicious. I was reluctant to stop here based on some other reviews but can say this is a wonderful place with great people.“
