“My family and I love going there on Fridays for the fish fry. It is the best fish in the area! Sometimes service is a bit slow but worth it. They just have a lot of people coming to eat and don’t take reservations (except for large parties). My only complaint was we went the other day and we showed up right around 4:45 pm, hoping to beat the rush. We unfortunately were told there were no tables, just a few high tops since they had a party coming in. We were told it would be awhile before we got a table. We have a 23 month old that needs to sit in a high chair and a 5 year old that isn’t the safest on high stools. They didn’t have any elevated high chairs so we had to hold our youngest while eating. (I guess we could have left but like I said we love the fish). It just made me feel like kids weren’t as welcomed.“

“We came for lunch, as I was looking for a good ribeye. Immediately felt at ease upon entering. Even though it appeared pretty busy, we were sat right away. We needed time to peruse the menu, and our server Jordan never made us feel rushed. He brought us water, and gave us some time. We had the spinach dip, bone in ribeye, and ahi tuna steak. It was obvious that the dip was freshly made, and my rare ribeye was the best steak I’ve had in a long time. The housemade chive butter was also excellent. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the music stylings were en pointe for my taste. This is the kind of establishment I love to support.“

“We Decided to try today while out on a motorcycle ride. We Arrived and walked in and were immediately greeted by staff. The atmosphere was nice and friendly. The staff was friendly. We ordered our drinks and food. We got the Prime Rib Sandwich with onion rings and the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with fries. Both of the sandwiches were amazing. Very tasty and juicy upon first bite to the Last bite with the right amount of meat and vegetables/mushrooms with it. The fries were just right...not to crispy. The onion rings were a tad overdone and really crispy. Overall the food and drinks were 10/10. We will be back.“

“Just had my son's wedding reception here and it was absolutely wonderful! The staff was so accommodating, very friendly, and oh so helpful. The guest also commented on the friendly service and the beautiful venue site. Thank you to the coordinator Sydney and the bartender (her name slips my mind at the moment), and Nancy. If I ever have a need for a venue again I will know where to go!! I will certainly share my experience with others Iknow. Thank you so much for making our wedding venue absolutely perfect!!“

“The Atwood is great. They are firm believers in keeping their guests entertained. They have Wiis and other video games around with plenty of controllers to play plenty of drop-in style games.
We rented their basement last year for an event and it was great.“

“We live in Northern Wisconsin and ate here on a trip to visit family. The food was outstanding, the waitress Jacyln (not sure of spelling, sorry!) was very attentive and took care of us in a timely friendly fashion. The atmosphere is casual, which we like because we don't dress up much! We are so happy we found this place and will be sure to return next time we are in the area. OUTSTANDING SERVICE AND FOOD.“

“We stopped after a trip to Little Amerikka. Service was great. Food was good but not great. They really like the seasoning and salt on the fries and tater tots. Wings were great - Big and tasty. Cooked perfect. Ribeye Sandwich special didn't show cheese but came with cheese. A little chewy. Burger was good but nothing special.“

“I would like to give a huge shout out to Varsity Bar and Grill! We kicked off Rachel's 40th Birthday Party at Varsity on Saturday. The food was oh so delicious, the service over the top exceptional, friendly and welcoming. Varsity is everything you could ask for in a small town bar and grill. Thank you to Tony, Ben, Lyle, Jeff and all at Varsity who helped make the party a success! We'll be back!!!“
