“This is a classic old school Midwest diner. Often overlooked when visiting the area, The Kitchen Serves basic breakfast fare done right. Don’t expect anything too crazy on the menu, but do expect a filling and affordable meal. Best price for breakfast in the area, and MAKE SURE TO BRING CASH!”

“I stopped in to Thirsty Pagan Brewing to try a couple of their brews. They had 9 of their beers on including an Amber, American pale ale, dark ale, west coast IPA, cream ale, an orange cream, pineapple pale ale, pilsner, and a Hazy IPA. Pagan has a nice outdoor seating area. The bar area had plenty of space with high ceilings, with lots of the historic feel that you expect in Superior. The service was friendly and fast. Pagan a full bar and a pizza and app menu if you get hungry. The Superior/Duluth area has a ton of brewery options and you should put this one on your list.”

“The cheese tray was lovely, but over priced for the amount that is on it. I would buy one more often if the price was more reasonable, but it was wonderful for a special occasion.The outdoors seating is beautiful and there is heaters and even blankets to sit on. Nice touch.”

Finally was able to stop in on my way back from Superior to Danbury, and glad that's where I picked. unfortunately, the lunch special was already over I'll be sure and make it on time for that next time, but the combo was awesome too, sauce choices too numerable to count. I had the plum, sweet with a little spice kick - can't wait to try others,the sliders were gourmet perfect, and the fries thin and crispily yummy with just the right amount of seasoning. I was amazed at the wide variety of other stuff on the menu as well. Have to go back that way in a month, so will plan on my lunch there 😺”

“It's a great bar and grill with great food, plenty of beers to choose from and a big menu. We stopped in on a Sunday evening about 7 pm and were welcomed and seated right away. Food came quickly and Todd, the owner, came to check on us several times to see if he could get us anything. We love these small town bar and grills and this one is exceptional! Very clean and well managed. Highly recommend!”

“The Barkeeps behind the bar are always really friendly and respectful(not to me though they are bullies) haha besides the awesome staff and awesome atmosphere Builders is the place to go if you're looking for a fun night, especially on Saturday and Fridays they have two separate areas one for karaoke and the other for more of that nightlife club style. Overall builders has it all from drinks to food to music, promise they won't disappoint.”

“We are here at least once a month. Everyone is so friendly. They remember us and what we order. It is amazing. Today we had my granddaughters 2nd birthday lunch here since she has been coming since she was a newborn. They let us bring balloons and decorations.They go above and beyond. They spend time with the kids and actually seem to enjoy it. If they were not over an hour away we would be here weekly at least.”

The blueberry cheesecake we had was sooooo goood! I recommend taking some time to check out many items displaying the history of Eddies hanging throughout the restaurant including their first menu from 1940.”

“The new Boulder Tap House - Superior is a great new addition to our chiming! The indoor and outdoor atmosphere that they have created makes for a great place for anyone to gather with friends. Their menu is broad and their food is outstanding, but they really knock it out of the park with their ever- changing line of tap beers with their own beer queen who decides what makes the cut to get a spot on their line for us to enjoy! So glad you all decided to create this great spot in our town!”

“Came in after nine to take advantage of the half priced appetizers, Decided to go with the Parmesan shrimp topped steak with garlic, mashed potatoes and broccoli. The presentation of the plate wasn’t the greatest I’ve ever seen, but the taste made up for it. The steak was cooked perfectly. I had ordered it medium rare, and the seasoned broccoli was very tender, and the garlic mashed potatoes were garlic mashed potatoes, nothing real special there, I sat at the bar, because I was by myself . My server was friendly and helpful. It was overall a good experience and I would come back again.”

“The best Chicken Caesar Salad I’ve ever had! Period. End of story. (except please keep reading) I’m so happy I got to talk to the mastermind behind this dish (Brandon knows what he is doing!!!), because I wouldn’t normally order this salad. I usually find Caesar salads to be bland and boring. Not this one! Smoked bacon (made in house), croutons (made in house), plus a Caesar dressing that compliments instead of overpowering the salad - yes, again made in house. Then Brandon explained how he makes the chips in house (I won’t try to explain it, because I won’t do it justice), but just know that it is like a chip and a waffle fry had a baby, and these chips are the wonderful, delicious outcome ~ light, but flavorful! A must order!!! The cherry on top was the great service. Cathy was a fabulous bartender and server! She was welcoming from the moment I sat down, and was attentive, without being overbearing. She also made great cocktails! Overall, The Shack was a wonderful experience, and I look forward to coming back on a weekly bases while in town for work. They apparently had a rough go during Covid, but Brandon (& others) have been working tirelessly to improve things, and I’m definitely impressed! I recommend you give them a try as well!”

“So I went to Taco John's once about 10 years ago when my students made me on a road trip. Then I did it again a couple years later. Then last week my wife said she had never been so we went.... I thought maybe things would have improved... But not really, the food just seems to be overall pretty bland. I just hate to say it but because I like to give positive reviews to places but it seems like that all three Taco John's just doesn't really do anything for me. Staff is always super nice though. And they are clean and decent restaurants. Kirk, heck, even the generic Taco Bell seems to have just a little more flavor to it. Of course, none of them compared to or are even trying to compare to any of the authentic kind of Street tacos you can find on Taco Tuesdays at some authentic good local Mexican restaurants. But at least in a pinch it's not nasty, it's okay.”

“Haven't had Arby's in like 6 years right? Get done at work, just a wild craving for some, totally random. I pull up, I realize they're literally closing in 20 minutes. I asked quick what the easiest thing for them to make is (I HATE when people roll up right before close and ask for the world) and that roast beef and cheddar caught my eye and it was a go.

Mikayla and Skylar were two of the nicest customer service representatives I've ever encountered. They were so kind and super generous. Charged me for a medium and gave me a large meal.

“We ordered take out and had the Mongolian Beef mild and Happy Couple, very bland, no flavor, rice was crunchy, beef was like rubber and you could not chew it. Gave the beef to our dog. Also had cream cheese wontons. They left out the sweet and sour sauce. About 2 hours after we ate, we had severe stomach pains. Won't order or eat from there again. Very disappointing. We never had any issues when it was China Inn. ☹”
