Nice little diner with inexpensive offerings. Great breakfast served all day. It is cash only, but still affordable.

Stopped in for breakfast on our way home from the cabin. Everything we ordered was so delicious! Service was very friendly! Will be back!

Schleicher's Chute Inn LLC is a small, local restaurant with a cozy dining area. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly and make guests feel welcome. They offer many choices on their menu, including different breakfast combinations like the Dam Special, Eggs Benedict, and Biscuits and Gravy. The food is described as home-cooked, great, and always served hot and fresh. Popular items include the country fried steak with sausage gravy and various omelettes. The coffee is really good, and they have great desserts. Portions are big, and the food is good for the price and location. Seating is first come, first serve and can fill up fast. While the skillet was noted as a bit bland, overall, the food is considered perfect and great comfort food. This gem of a restaurant is recommended, and many plan to return again and again. Note: only cash is accepted.
