“We enjoy our experience each time we time we go. Great tasting food with specials! Venue is clean and neat. Staff-amazing! Love the atmosphere enough to drive 25 miles twice per week! They host a car show on Tuesday afternoons with hot dogs and hamburgers for sale. You can eat at the bar, at a table or outside in a small tiki type area! Today's nacho platter was amazing!

Location is close to downtown with a great parking area.“

“We came in at like 7:20 and the guy who sat us was grumbly but the waiter absolutely saved the day he was so patient and all the waiters were great with the kids in our group. The food was great. “I go here for a networking lunch regularly. I've never had a bad experience or meal. I do not know what they do to the creamed corn but it's magic. There's a balance of flavors I can't replicate. I've literally never had a bad offering there and I've had almost everything. The servers are also spot on. Go there!“

We never had to request for a refill and she made sure we had everything we needed. She offered helpful suggestions, too. “My partner and I were on an overnight to the Milwaukee area and stopped in here for breakfast. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The restaurant layout was open and airy. We were greeted and seated promptly, and coffee and water appeared before we even had a chance to ask for it. We ordered our meals, and to our surprise our food arrives within minutes, even on a busy weekend morning. The food was delicious, and the server brought us some sort of cinnamon cake that was also amazing.
We don't travel through that area often, but Maxim's is now our go-to spot!“

“I was in town for a conference and wanted a quick breakfast. I ordered from the light menu and got 3 pancakes and bacon with fresh squeezed orange juice. The staff were kind, accommodating, and chatty. Many customers were known by name. Highly recommend for a reasonable priced amazing meal.“

I unfortunately should have said yes when offered sauce. As juicy as it looked, and don't get me wrong, there was some decent juiciness to it, there were some dry bites, and I should have at least asked for mayo on the bun. Smokiness was okay. I prefer a more pronounced smoke flavor. I use post oak, mesquite and sometimes throw in chunks of pecan. I know they must use nothing but splits of a certain wood that I can't tell whichI actually can't wait to have a full dinner or supper here, and I really appreciate the military and first responder support they exhibit.“

“My family loves going to La Cabana! Without fail the food and service are excellent! We were there this past Thursday for dinner, and my husband's burrito and my chimichanga were very well made. I chose to have chorizo in my chimichanga, and the meat was seasoned well and there was plenty of it. My husband's burrito had a very nice sauce on it. We have eaten frequently for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's one of our most favorite Mexican food restaurants.“

“We went to Palmer‘s for the first time with my best friends family for her birthday. The service was great and the food and drinks were wonderful. One thing I wanted to recognize was how incredible our server Neil was. We oversaw the part on the bill where 20% gratuity was included in the total, so we had given double the tip. As we were leaving, Neil got our attention and let us know what we did and if it was a mistake. It would have been very easy to take the extra tip money and let us leave, but instead he was an honest person and brought it to our attention. We were very thankful and still gave him some extra money for the tip. I just wanted to recognize him and say thank you again. Great first experience.“

“Been here a couple times before. I think of this place as less a coffee shop, and more of a cafe (explained below). It's part of a small strip mall. There are some cafe tables out front, on the small sidewalk between parked cars and the front door. Inside there are a couple different rooms for seating. The first There a couple different areas for seating. Plenty of room for different size groups.

This time came with a friend for a hot beverage and pastry. There were several other table of people and one larger group. The noise level was good, perfect for a quiet conversation.

We like London Fogs (Earl Grey Tea Latte), it wasn't on the menu, but after explaining it, they did their best to make them. The bakery case was a little sparse, and they were sold out of a couple items. I like a good scone, and they had a Blueberry available.

They drink a pretty good job with the London Fogs (little lavender, little vanilla, and extra foam. Got them served in mugs which is also a nice touch. The Blueberry Scone were large and fresh. However, they were bit more like muffins (breadlike), and less like a traditional scone (shortbread, crumbly). There were plenty of fresh blueberries, but too much of a good thing, with some many that sank to the bottom, and making it wet.

Service was terrific. Super friendly with genuine warm smiles. Double checking with us on the recipe for the London Fog, and warming up the scones.

“There are 2 young girls working today, standing in view of customers, eating breadsticks, drinking and using cell phones. When a customer walks up to the counter, they are giving them food, plates, silverware, with unclean hands. I don't see this kind of thing going on when the manager is here.“

“I only order the "Jalapeno Popper" from Mac's in Brookfield. Over half the time I order it they don't put in any jalapenos or they put in next to none. How hard is it to properly make this dish? It is super hard to add jalapenos to the JALAPENO popper? After the 3rd order it happened I brought it back. The manager stated, I quote, "There are jalapenos all up in there" while pointing to two small pieces in the ENTIRE DISH. Done wasting my time and money with this location that can't make a simple Mac and Cheese. Pathetic.“
