“We went on a Friday night with 10 people knowing that they didn’t take reservations…but they seem to be very efficient with plenty of staff and we were seated pretty quickly! We were celebrating a birthday and it was so nice to not feel like you’re being rushed! Our waitress Jessica K was super attentive constantly grabbing drinks at the bar for us and very friendly! “under new management - chicken aren't as good as they used to be... but still good.- fried whole wings - deliciously golden, not too salty. They are whole wings, in 3 sections, which is nice if you like the wing tip area like I do.- potato wedges - these are more expensive than regular fries, but there's no Merrit in paying the extra. Regular fries are pretty good, and the wedges are subpar.Oh, and don't get lost. They are located right on the corner of Teutonia and Good Hope, inside the gas station. (and don't get gas here - it's cheaper just down the street)“

“If you want a very good meal. This is the place. The owner hand makes everything from the sauces to dressing to all the food, and there cheese cakes is out of this world. They do offer outside seating or indoors. Prices are very reasonable. And again the food will surprise you.Very good!“

“This was a super random food stop while in Milwaukee a couple of weeks ago. It was one of the only spots open late and we didn't know what to expect. This is definitely a lil hood spot, which I personally love lol. The staff was super friendly, they even let my boyfriend use their restroom even though it was closed to guests. It's the small things lol.We ordered the catfish, wings and fries. I was originally thinking the food was a bit pricey. But when we got back to our hotel and opened the boxes there was so much food!!! Everything was good too. Perfectly seasoned and fried. This was legit a great, unexpected meal. I get the catfish dinner, fried hard with lemon pepper. Large portions of good-looking catfish filets. Light and crispy on the outside. Soft, flaky, and moist on the inside. Perfect every time. Never burnt, never hard.It is hot and steamy. If food is kept in the container too long, the batter may get more soft than desired. Needs to be eaten soon as it is ready.Had a small issue one time.
