“Went on a Wednesday afternoon, since I was on campus for work that day and wanted to try something new. They had the special of buffalo chicken wrap, grilled or crispy. It was SO good. I’ve been thinking of it since 😂! The had generous amounts of chicken on it, which is always nice. The service was excellent too. Definitely will be going back when I’m on campus again. 😋“

“Our wedding at the union was fantastic! Sam Mack (venue coordinator) was a great communicator and all of the Union Staff was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout the planning process and day-of. We had our ceremony in Tripp Commons and our cocktail hour and reception in Great Hall. The food was good (not the best I've ever had, but also not the worst), the cocktails and drinks were great, and it was so nice not having to make a million different decisions. They really guide you through the process which was exactly what we were looking for. The Union has done hundreds of weddings and it really shows. The whole day went very smoothly and the price was right! Would highly recommend, especially for UW grads!“

“Quaint, quirky & quiet bar, a good place for conversation, or to play cards! Limited, but (at least recently) reliable hours. Sometimes has a home-cooked dinner option (besides the frozen pizzas, etc.). If so on your visit, I'd recommend trying it. I've been pleasantly surprised each time. Reasonable and good (but not extensive) local beer options. Great little local one-man establishment.“

“It was our anniversary, and we needed a quick bite to eat before seeing Wicked at the Overture Center. I walked in at 6:52 and asked the bartender if we ordered 2 sandwiches if he could have them out in time for us to get to the 7:30 show. He said he could do it and even asked if I'd like to pay up front so we didn't have to wait any longer after eating, great idea. We sat nervously awaiting our meal and constantly looking at the time. We made it to the show with 10 minutes to spare. That's great service! I ordered the turkey bacon cheddar toastie and the wife ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. Both were delicious! My sandwich had way more meat than I was expecting, I couldn't even finish the whole thing. The bread was fresh and grilled to perfection. My wife's chicken sandwich was one of the best she's ever tasted. I don't know where they get their bread/buns, but it was the best tasting bun I've ever tried. Our experience couldn't have been any better. Thank you so much for helping make our anniversary special!“

“We had our server forget our cheese curds last night. Brought our food out and I mentioned it to her. She immediately apologized and I told her no worries! To my surprise she comp'd the curds even though I hadnt complained. Now THATS service. Impressed with the service, food and tunes. I had the Flying Hound Burger and the only issue was my egg wasnt as runny as I would have liked but guess what? SHIT HAPPENS. Still enjoyed it! :)“
