“I love everything about this location and coffee shop. They have a nice outdoor space to relax and drink a delicious cup of coffee (or plenty of non coffee drinks). It's a good space for kids. They are always quick with service as well. My favorite drink is the Ugg boot. Their seasonal cold brews are also always great! My must have is the sausage breakfast sandwich. Whatever their secret sauce is hits the spot. We have to go here at least once a month to satisfy the craving!“

“Wandered into this gem today looking for a coffee and muffin. Was cheerefully greeted and made feel welcome immediately. I ordered a simple black coffee and blueberry muffin. The coffee was amazing and roasted to absolute perfection. The blueberry muffin was life altering though. The top/crown had just the right amount of crunch and sweetness. The blueberries had a perfect balance of sweet and tartness. It was so dense yet airy and flavorful. This thing should be on everyone's bucket list. It's that good! Here's the kicker though, they have other homemade pastries and sandwiches as well. I mean this place is a little piece of heaven! The only thing I'd would recommend is to order more than one so your not overcome with sorrow when it's gone. 10 out of 5 stars!!!“

“Nice donut selection with some seasonal theme which the kids loved. Spider donuts was creative. Service was ok but not over the top. I was openly talking out loud stating things I wasn't sure of and the person behind the counter just waited quietly not saying a word until I asked her the question directly. Otherwise she chatted with her co worker, in another language which to me seems rude. Almost like they are talking about me or my kids and don't want us to know. Place was clean and simple inside.“

“We lucked out when our local 'favorite' coffee shop wasn't able to serve food this morning. We now have another favorite to add to our list! We didn't ask from where their coffee was sourced, but it was some of the best we've ever had. I've always preferred plenty of cream in mine, but it smelled so good I drank it all without much cream at all!! What a great 'find!' The people, coffee, food, atmosphere all made this place a must go-to in the future. All this & yet they top it off with kind, fully capable staff that includes people with all abilities. “We ate at Gondola for the first time on Saturday night. The food was excellent! I love Italian food and this chef hit it out of the ballpark! My beet salad was scrumptious and my gorgonzola gnocchi with prosciutto was phenomenal! We will definitely be back. It's so nice to have a restaurant in Lake Country with gourmet level food. “Amazing food amazing staff amazing everything! Always so welcoming as soon as you walk in the door. The bakery is to die for. I just can't get enough. Always willing to explain what all the different bakery options they have! Each week it's something different and fresh! LOVE IT! Had a breakfast sandwich today and it just melted in my mouth! So yummy! It even came with fruit! Highly recommend to everyone to stop in for some fresh yummy food!“

“This place was so relaxing and comforting, It was so nice to sit in a quiet place and draw while enjoy a wonderful latte. The rice crispy treats and the brownies are absolutely delicious, I can't wait to try all the other treats in their case As well as some of the other things you're doing except they carry. I enjoyed the Handsome Irishman Latte, which was this month specialty latte. I think it's awesome that they do different seasonal drinks.“

“Decided to stop in to do a little work while eating, instead of going to Panera or some other big chain. The staff were nice, though obviously young and a little slower in responding to needs during a lunch rush. The food was fine - the selection is fair for a cafe, but nothing to write much about. It reminded me of school lunch - maybe I'll give it another shot someday since I seem to be in the minority in this experience. The mocha blend shake, on the other hand, made up for the meh welcome. The space is clean and there is a good amount of seating. The parking lot is a nice option in the busy area, and makes it convenient to come in. They have a nice sun room you can sit in to enjoy the Pewaukee lake view, but you are only allowed to be there for an hour...so don't plan to be able to stick around for long. I wonder how the knitting group gets around that rule...“

“While the food here is very good, the employees are extremely cold to customers unless you're a regular. I ordered some food and a drink, and the barista wasn't very friendly. Pretty disappointed in that, cuz again, the food is really good!“

“First time at the Hartbrook Cafe in a few years, after I left I told myself I won't wait as long between visits! The portions are generous and the staff was very friendly - I ordered a thick piece of French Toast and a side of sausage links, it was fantastic :)“

“I had some time to kill while waiting to pick up someone, I was in town visiting from CA and thought, I really need caffeine. Yelped a few places that were close to where I was and this one popped up. Super cute little place, I could have purchased way too much. They have lots of fresh coffee, beans and espresso beans and honey and all sorts of goodies, so I check out the menu and immediately focus in on the Montecristo. I haven't had one in quite a while so I thought you know what, why not, I'll take the Montecristo and I'll also try a piece of coffee cake sitting in the display case amongst lots of goodies and a large dirty chai tea. Dirty Chai came with 4 shots of espresso, which is exactly what I needed. It came relatively fast along with a warm coffee cake. Chai tea wasn't your classic chai with cardamom and all the other spices and herbs in it but it was pretty good. It was strong and hot, it was cold out and it hit the spot. Coffee cake was absolutely amazing, super moist and buttery cinnamon crumb was nice and thick, this was on point and I loved it. Sandwich took a bit of time, actually thought they forgot about it. But it finally made its way to my table. OK . . . so I have never seen a Monte Cristo sandwich prepared like this one, I'm use to it having Mayo, Dijon Mustard, red current or raspberry jam and dusted with powdered sugar. As you can see from the photo, it wasn't "dolled up" nor pretty and it was served with a side of maple syrup. I have to admit, I was taken aback, but put a lil maple syrup on top and sliced into it, huh ok well that's not bad, a lil different, but very tasty. Instead of Mayo/Mustard I think it was Cream Cheese? Bread was a lightly dipped French Toast this is where the Maple Syrup came into play. I had a few bites, but took it to go. Came back at it the next day after heating it up in the microwave, again just a drizzle of maple syrup and finally decided, wow this is actually pretty darn good. My ONLY suggestion, the inside needed to be hotter so the cheese would be melted and gooey however, I understand that probably would be harder to achieve with the cream cheese. Overall pleasantly surprised, nice job.“

“I was having THE WORST morning today. woke up late. Toddler being a toddler. I was finally on my way to work and decided I needed caffeine to get me through the day! get to the window and realize my wallet is not with me, apologized profusely and asked the barista in the drive thru to cancel my order. She let me have have my coffee anyways ? bless her soul for giving me life this morning. Seriously, thank you so much to the nicest gal in the window around 7:45 this morning. you did not need to do that but I'm so incredibly grateful you did! I'll be paying it forward big time at my next visit! ?“

“The food was delicious, but it is a little overpriced... I'm sorry, but $17 plus tax for a breakfast sandwich is just too much for me.They have some lovely, albeit pricey pastries... But as the woman told us, they change constantly so they can't put prices on them... It makes it very difficult to figure out what to order.The young lady who took care of us was very competent and knowledgeable and pleasant, but again, she had to deal with us asking about prices, not a good situation. It really kind of irritated us.Oh, I should mention that we went at lunch time but ordered the breakfast sandwich.“

“One of the best!I really do love this place. When I first passed through Oconomowoc 3 years ago by happen chance, I stopped by Roots for lunch. The experience of seeing City Beach, eating lunch at Roots, and driving through downtown Oconomowoc was enough for me to pack up and move here 4 months later from an hour away.I think they have the best coffee/Lattes in town.Their food quality/service has always been top notch.The interior is cozy and contemporary, Intimate and relaxing. This has been a repeat business I have spent $100s of dollars with in the last 3 years. I love it.I just wanted to say that it is absolutely crazy that the breakfast burrito I ate today was 1/3 filled with corn. Not even fresh corn. FROZEN CORN! I’m still shocked. The texture and taste of frozen corn is beyond recognizable and barely palatable on a plate with butter let alone wrapped up and reheated in a breakfast burrito. Ya’ll need to remove the corn and replace with potato and even bell peppers (both can be frozen and reheated) - using frozen corn in a breakfast meal as an ingredient is crazy.The other thing was I had a hard time reading the menu today with the baby blue background and fine font. I overheard the elderly couple behind me discussing the same thing.I love Roots and will continue to patronize this business - but please guys tweak that burrito a little bit ???“

“Love this sweet local coffee shop. The service is always amazing. All the girls in the drive thru are so sweet and polite. The baked items and Brewsters are delicious. They have so many drinks options there is something for everyone. Go here you won't regret it!“

“An enjoyable morning visit, it was like being transported to France! The croissants were excellent. I purchased both the chocolate and plain croissant and chose a cup of coffee to savor while soaking up the French music being played. Also picked up a baguette for later in the day. The baristas know what they are doing and make the drink the way you want to perfection.Good selection of various sundries to buy.Do not expect a lot of seating, though. It looks to me that they took a lot of seats out of the store. I have no idea why. But at least there is seating. A sad thing for me is that so many Starbucks now are standing room only.“

“I want to give high praise to one of Starbucks' managers at the Starbucks located in the Mukwonago, WI Pick in Save grocery store. I believe her name is Adalyn. She helped me regarding my reusable coffee mug a few days ago. I noticed that they were still using a disposable cup to make my coffee, which they then throw away. So I asked about it, and she told me that they needed it for the pour lines that are on the cup. I expressed regret about this because my main purpose of purchasing reusable cups (this was a venti-sized Starbucks cup) is to save on plastics that will end up in landfills. She was very kind and attentive re: my concern, and made a suggestion that worked really well! She gave me a clean plastic disposable Starbucks cup, which had pour lines on it, and told me that I could take it home and draw matching pour lines on my reusable cup in permanent marker for future use. I know that other Starbucks stores have reusable cups with pour lines that they use but this store does not have those yet. Until then, this is a great solution that makes me very happy! I do not care that I now have black lines on my cup. It's still a very pretty, decorative cup, and it serves the purpose that I purchased it for, thanks to this nice young lady. She is always very cheerful and kind and patient and I really do appreciate her attitude and her quick thinking and friendly service. I will pass this on to Starbucks as well, but I wanted to get this out there on Yelp for any customers who run into the same issue at any of the locations. Of course, they make great coffee beverages! Btw... all of the Starbucks employees at both Mukwonago locations are phenomenal, friendly, and upbeat. They work very hard and keep great attitudes, even when it's super busy.“
