Drove by today and appears closed? The sign was painted over. However, I cannot confirm this 100%. Don’t rely on this restaurant as your vegan option if you trek over to Washington Island!
We stopped in here on a whim yesterday to grab a beer before heading back to the mainland. Guinness on tap,and a good variety of other craft beers available as well. We loved the relaxed atmosphere, charm of the building, and the old books that are available to peruse. We look forward to returning here again in the future to try their food.
Wonderful experience! I was thrilled to find this gem. I loved the vibe, it felt very welcoming and comfortable. Enjoyed a cold Guinness on the patio along with an AMAZING vegan roasted vegetable sandwich - hummus, carrots, parsnips, watermelon radish, tomatoes, peppers.... curried couscous with door county cherries for a side - and lovely dates for dessert. So good! Omnivore husband loved his tomato/mozzarella sandwich. The owner, Kate, was super helpful and kind. Loved it here...
