Ships Wheel Restaurant

They have different hours then we were used to but the food was delicious. I had the snow crab with fries while my girlfriend had the ribeye with fries. The fries were a little over done but the rest of the food was amazing. I love sea food and have been trying to find a place that makes good crab legs. This place makes the best crab legs I’ve tasted at a restaurant.

Notwithstanding the ramshackle appearance of the exterior, the interior was clean, though a bit austere, with an appropriate nauticle vibe. The place is not large, but every table has an ecxellent view of they bay and the regular comings and goings of the ferry.It's only the very beginning of the tourist season so they were working with a limited menu. We love The Ship's Wheel. For starts, the breakfasts are out of this world! They have a huge menu, and they serve excellent food and good portions. The setting is beautiful. A marina right, at the ferry dock. They have a beautiful outdoor patio to eat at too. And also a fun, nautical, sports themed indoor restaurant l, with windows looking at the boats, all around.
