“A classic country bar except for one thing. Simply fantastic food!! We had a double ham and grilled cheese and the special which was a delicious steak sandwich with grilled onions on a toasted hoagie. They even made a great kiddy cocktail for my grandson.“

“Crazy place. A chick on corner of bar passed out i think from drugs as she walked into the bathroom fine, her bf carried her out and placed her in a stool then leaned her on the bar . The guy that was with her arguing with the bar tender about if they can buy vodka with an EBT benefits card. I've seen movies with less drama in them. Want to feel great about yourself, come here once in awhile to rebuild your own self esteem! 😆“

“For the first time, my family & I visited this spot on a Friday night for music and food, and we were thoroughly impressed. The food was exceptional, and the rich history of the place added to the experience. Despite how busy it was, the service was remarkably attentive. The burgers & wraps were among the best in town, and the fish fry was absolutely delicious. I’m honestly disappointed I didn’t discover this establishment sooner. We will most certainly be back to visit soon. Don’t lets this one get by you, it was well worth the visit.“

I see lots of bad reviews from old employees.. boyfriends of ex employees.. ex patrons etc.. typical behavior from the ones causing the problems.. but now that the trash has taken itself out because management DOES care and won't stand for the behavior the business itself gets trashed.. only bar in the whole town worth going to! Dana is great and has been doing an amazing job the 20ish years she's been there! Highly recommend labor temple and the pizza is amazing!“

“Listen up y'all!! If you're looking for a cozy, friendly, little spot for good food, a warm friendly atmosphere...This is the place! I went there recently and it was on a Friday. They have a fish fry and I treated my sister and daughter. We all had different meals off the menu. Shrimps, walleye, halibut, ribs, coleslaw, German/American potato salad, cheese curds, fresh re-read. Alll the food was piping hot, fresh, seasoned and delicious . Worth your time, and the price was right. Come on down, you'll be glad you did!!! I guarantee!!!!“

“What a lovely place!   The establishment is in a lovely historic building that has been meticulously restored and decorated with an artsy vibe.  The venue is spotless.  Our committee chose this location for a class reunion, and we could not have been happier. The owner was super accommodating.  The bar service was on point.   If you visit, do try a mojito.  The mint is grown on site by the owner, and what a difference it makes!“

“We visited this restaurant on the advice of my friend's co-worker and were not disappointed. The prices for the food are excellent and the serving sizes large. We had the fish and shrimp, tenderloin and shrimp, and the fried chicken. All were cooked perfectly. The side cole slaw was excellent in that it had a nice flavor and was creamy. The french fries were crispy and had a light coating. The potato salad, according to my friend, was very good. We plan to visit again to try other entrees for a comparison to tonight's meal.“
