First time. Can't wait to go again great food best Gyro I've ever had. This place is a must!!
First time here. We ordered 2 gyros with lamb and chicken kabobs with rice. The portion size of meet was very generous. Husband and daughter were stuffed and I myself pretty much got 2 meals out of mine. It took about 25 minutes for our food to be prepared for take out but it was well worth the wait. Definitely will go again!!

Located in Wausau, Mykenos | Mediterranean Grill is a truly special place that looks like a random hole-in-the-wall eatery from the outside but offers divine food and excellent service. The family who owns the restaurant is from Palestine and they are very enthusiastic, helpful, and friendly. The woman at the counter is always an absolute delight, greeting guests with the biggest smile and making sure every order is correct before sending customers on their way. This is the best customer service experience in Wausau.
The food is always fresh, consistent, and delicious. The gyro plate is great, with very tender gyro meat that is not overcooked and stuffed generously—easily two meals. The warm pita holds so much flavor and isn’t soggy. The chicken kabob has so much flavor, and the salad is crisp and fresh. Try the greek fries, which are very good and stay crispy even in a take home box. The baba ghanoush is to die for, and the jalapeño poppers are poppin’ with tons of cream cheese. The melt is flavorful. Portions are large with lots of options, even for picky kids.
