“Our family loves this restaurant so much. We love being greeted every time we come with Michelle’s wonderful smile too. The food has always been amazing and never disappoints. It’s always a work of art too.Our dinner tonight was amazing as always and beautiful!! Thank you.“
“This is one of those places where I can try something new every time, and it's always incredibly flavorful. I tried my friend's dish, Nam Kow with ham, and it was the best tasting dish I've ever had! Everything is so tasty, and the staff is quite friendly.Vegetarian options: Any dishes can be made without fish sauce or components, and made with tofu as the main protein. (So yummy!)“
“Pretty solid spot on Water street.Food:I got the BBQ salmon and the fried octopus. The fried octopus was the hit. They get the breading perfect. Outside of that, the Korean short ribs is beyond perfect. I’m normally not a fan but damn. Duck curry is worth staying away from in my opinion.Service:Pretty solid.Atmosphere:Fairly basic space in the back. Otherwise, you can sit at the bar at the front of house and watch the traffic at the window. Nothing real special.“
“Atmosphere is very unique. Staff is friendly and helpful. Visited for dinner. Ordered the coconut shrimp. Was very good with sauce provided. Also ordered the French fries. Loved how they made it with the sauce. Very crispy till the end. Had the Banh Mi. Unfortunately this was where I had to drop a star. Meat and filling was great. However, the bread roll was not baguette style and crispy. Soft and more a hoagie style. Banh Mi bread should be a crispy. So for me, will order other items and not the Banh Mi. Otherwise I look forward to trying the Ramen and other items.“
“It was very clean and friendlyVegetarian options: I enjoyed tofu hibachiDietary restrictions: Let the server know what I was allergic to, and they did as I askedKid-friendliness: They seem to enjoy having kids at the hibachi tablesWheelchair accessibility: They make it easy for you to enter and by the tables and hibachi tables too“
“Hands down the best Japanese/Sushi restaurant in Milwaukee area. They have the best Sushi and service. We were given a free desert today just randomly. Also a beautiful location it really makes it feel authentic like an actual restaurant in Japan.“
“My favorite sushi in Milwaukee (Maybe even anywhere)! Who knew amazing sushi could come from a food truck? My husband & I absolutely love it here. The Brewers sushi burritos, Dragon rolls, Dumplings, Spicy Tuna & boba tea are my favs, but really everything on the menu is great.I'm also very picky with seaweed wraps, because some places have hard to chew & overly textured. I don't have that problem at Modern Maki! Their shrimp is always so tasty & crispy in the Dragon rolls, that it could be one of my favorite shrimps ever. But probably my absolute favorite thing about this place is the rice in the sushi! It's always made for perfection. So soft & magnificent.I highly recommend!“
“Food was tasty and fresh. I loved it so much I ordered another bowl to go. I wouldn't bother with the drinks though. Just get the food.Parking: Parking is very limited and hard to get. I had to walk 3 blocks away. If you get luck there is like parking enough to fit like 5 to 6 cars by them.“
