“You could almost miss this place from the street side, but Gathering Place-Tosa is a chill taproom with a large outdoor patio in the back. Their beers are cheap, with a half pour for $3 or a full pour for $6. The bar tender was helpful in describing a few beers to me. They don't have food here, but Maggio's is right next door. You can order pizza from them and bring it over which is a great option! They also have a ton of boardgames in the back.“
“Love a graduation party at a brewery!! I am not a big beer person but the blood orange ale at Big Head Brewing was my phenomenal. Super light and sweet with a little tang- perfect for a hot day with a 6 UV! The big open garage was perfect for a party with bags, hammershougen, and darts! The bartender was so sweet too and catered to everyone at the party with ease! Would recommend stopping by when you're in Tosa:)“
“We just had over 30 people here on March 12th, 2024, for my Mom's 80th Birthday party, and it went better than any of us could ever have expected.You are family there. They take care of you but aren't in your face either. Jane was our main host and server. She took the cake as far as customer service goes. She never missed a beat or step. I know others helped, too, and all of us were served with genuine smiles. And, let's face it, that is RARE these days.So, looking for a pleasant night out, go here!!! You will not be disappointed.“
“The BEST brewery in Milwaukee! MUCH better place than the other hype breweries that are on the "best of" lists in the city. The beer is always interesting, well thought out, and delicious. The taproom is roomy and chic with nice outdoor seating in the warm weather.“
“Small quaint little brewery that is somewhat hidden on the Greenfield Avenue. You could easily walk past it. Beer selection was definitely serviceable. The silent disco was very interesting. It's is small so be prepared to be a bit cramped. Nice little beer garden out back when the weather is nice.“
“The kids loved unlimited soda tasting, we adults appreciated our beverage as well. Tour was educational AND entertaining (it was a busy and a microphone for Jeff would have been super). Jeff had fun facts, pulled folks in and knew lots about Sprecher.“
“One of our new favorite breweries, Torzala is truly a hidden gem. It’s one-of-a-kind atmosphere is quiet and cozy yet so welcoming. The owners and bartenders are incredibly friendly and have a “strangers are just friends we haven’t met yet” attitude. We loved our time here and can’t wait to go back soon!“
“Very nice set up and atmosphere. The baristas are always friendly. For some reason the crowd always seems off putting whenever I enter though, almost judgey. I haven't been there in a while so maybe that has changed. The chai tea latte is amazing there!“
“My boyfriend and I went here back in October and loved it so much we ended up coming back there every other day for coffee. We even took the tour and had a much more fun time than either of us expected. I've been coming to this place on and off for awhile for the never-disappointing coffee courtesy of Anodyne, and I would be quick to recommend this cafe to anyone staying in the Pabst district. Nothing beats the charm of this place.I will keep those memories of our days watching the hands of autumn fall on Milwaukee with him forever in my heart.“
“We have always loved the beer at lionstail. They now have in-house pizza, which is yummy. The staff has definitely gone down hill. We have been going since they opened and never had unfriendly service. Tonight was different. We had a giftcard we just got this past January. It was slightly bent. The bartender couldn’t get it to work and told us to go to Wauwatosa to use it instead. In the plus side the owners are still great and have said they will replace the giftcard for us.“
