“Very nice set up and atmosphere. The baristas are always friendly. For some reason the crowd always seems off putting whenever I enter though, almost judgey. I haven't been there in a while so maybe that has changed. The chai tea latte is amazing there!“
“My boyfriend and I went here back in October and loved it so much we ended up coming back there every other day for coffee. We even took the tour and had a much more fun time than either of us expected. I've been coming to this place on and off for awhile for the never-disappointing coffee courtesy of Anodyne, and I would be quick to recommend this cafe to anyone staying in the Pabst district. “I have not had the food. I usually just go for a beer. They have a great rewards program and they always have a great beer selection, so many varieties. The staff is always friendly but today Julie, the bartender and by herself and she was busy but she was still super friendly and took great care of us.“

“We held a pre-wedding event in the Lumber Room. The space is beautiful with a great sound system. Bar service was fast and friendly with great drink options. The small prep room was perfect for us to setup food prior to the event. And Celina was super helpful before and during the event to make sure everything went smoothly. All this helped create a memorable evening for the bride and groom, their friends, and their families.“

“We walked in here on New Years Day and had to wonder if they were open. It's a great space, very nice bar, good seating, and a few games. Lots of bathrooms and you can see the brewery equipment. It was a slow start but really grew on us. The beers were good. The abv was lower but the beers were also a bit more refreshing. It was a good menu, great space, good service, and a good time. It strikes me as an "old money" brewery. Everything is deceptively nice. Look at the bar, the rugs, the bathrooms, the walls. It's a nice place and very understated. We were surprised by how dead it was, there were only 2 to 8 other people besides us.“
“Great beer and great service at Enlightened Brewing! I'm always on the hunt for dog friendly spots where I can grab a tasty brew and our pup can kick back with his bone. Space is beautiful! Love the industrial vibes. We had a minor issue with a group of children running around the brewery and crawling under our table, which made our dog rather anxious. But, I attribute that more to the parents. Luckily, Enlightened's space is large enough that we were able to shift tables and find a more comfortable spot out of the running pathway. We've also been here before without the pup, for a friend's concert which was set up on a stage right in the main brewery space. So much fun! Haven't had a chance to try the on site food truck yet, but I've heard it is some of the best BBQ in MKE so reviews to come!Overall, great space, good vibes, and tasty brews. Don't miss this spot.“
“We love Urban Harvest Brewing due to the family atmosphere as members of the mug club and all the events that involve the club and the general public (i.e. block parties and fundraisers). I absolutely love how owner Steve supports his community and organizations like the Wisconsin Humane Society and his patrons. Also as a retired Infection Control Practitioner, I am SO impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and especially how UHBC operated during COVID-19 pandemic ... nice job!“
“We recently hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner at the Riverwest Taproom location and the experience was fantastic! Everyone in the Gathering Place team was a pleasure to work with. The process was so simple and they went above and beyond to make sure the space was what we needed. Not to mention that the beer was all great!“
“A great range of beers that are ever-changing! They have some good locally made snacks as well. I highly recommend the jar of salsa and bag if chips for $10. It's a cool, rustic atmosphere. My only complaint is that they no longer allow dogs inside the brewery.“
“I can't believe it's taken me this long to review Component Brewing. It was one of the first breweries I visited when I moved to Milwaukee. It was in an entirely different location then, so this was my first visit to the new taproom. Such a comfortable and fun spot! They have so many different events, including an ASL Guided Brewery Tour (which is quite unique) and a monthly book club. I originally stopped by to drop off books for their used book sale, but I stayed for two beers. Very friendly staff and appear to be highly engaged with their community. There was a nice variety of styles on their beer menu. I tried a pilsner (I believe?) and an Oktoberfest (because it was the season). Both very tasty! I enjoy the atmosphere of this brewery and the type of community they seem to be building.“
