You can't get better Indian food in Milwaukee; believe me I've tried almost every Indian restaurant in the area and with every one my fiancé and I say "This is really good, but it's not as good as India Garden." Literally everything I've ordered here has been fabulous.“

My friend and I had dinner of garlic naan, samosa( nice dough +bit of heat), butter chicken, chicken & chickpea dish, wine, and dessert, and chai tea. We had take home. Our waiter was patient as we made choices, attentive, even remembering our divided bills details correctly. He brought extra rice for our to go. “Saw this place on fox6 and decided to check it out. The food was amazing! Got a chicken tikka bowl and swapped the beets for carrots and added some spicy pickled peppers. Owner still gave me a tiny side of beets that were actually not bad (I hate beets). I ate this bowl soooo fast. I also ordered a goa blues lassi that was phenomenal! I can’t stop thinking about this place and cannot wait to go back. The owner seemed very passionate about cooking, making the drinks and customer service. I felt at home at this place and loved every second of it! Thank you Rutas for a memorable experience that I can’t stop thinking about! They even had a plant that matched my hoodie.“

“I could make this a very long glowing review, but you just imagine I did. I went in for the first time yesterday and it was all I could have wanted in an Indian meal. In fact having been to india, it felt very authentic from a vibe perspective. The place is roomy, well decorated, clean. The food and drink were absolutely wonderfully prepared. “It has been a very long time since I have experienced a superb restaurant serving exotic Nepalese dishes. Sometimes memories are hard to compete with. Most actual dishes just do not dance on your palate the same way you remembered them. Surprised to hear that Cafe Everest was so close to my travel area, I decided to give them a try. I had little in expectations as the blending of spices is a delicate formula and many have tried but none came close to my memories. Each bite led me to another, the spices brought me back to the same conclusions after each and every bite "oh this is good it is really good. I was and am delighted. “My husband and I enjoy Indian Cuisine. We have eaten at Indian Restaurants across Wisconsin and throughout the United States; this one is our absolute favorite. The owners are so accommodating and extremely friendly. Everything on the menu is delicious. Presentation is on point and the level of spice is totally in your hands. Portions are large and prices are great. The Marsala Chai is full bodied with a perfect balance of spice. If you are looking for a casual dining experience with the best of Indian Cuisine this is the place to go.“

Only one person to take orders, answers phones, prepare take outs, and waitress, seemed a little too much and help needed. Probably explains why we were only people dining in on a Saturday night.“

“They had amazing food here. Loved the Chicken Karahi, including the sauce it had and the chicken and the karahi Masala. I would say though that I would like there to be less bone and more chicken. The place is also relatively convenient for taking transit is it is right along the route 54 bus and the Route 80 bus which have decent frequencies. Not super convenient for biking as the nearest bike lanes are on Mitchell street and Muskego Avenue and really is only accessible by biking from the west. If you are coming from the north south or east then you’ll either have to ride on side streets or in traffic with other cars“
