“love HuHot, just not the West Allis location. worst experience ever at a HuHot. restaurant was not busy. 1pm on Sunday afternoon. they only had 2 waitresses who were also acting as hostess and busser. only 1/2 of the usual offerings, 3/4 were empty. we were there over an hour. never saw anyone refill or even check. love HuHot but wil definitely think twice before going to this location ever again.“

“I loved the Hottie Hottie. I also had the Spicy Miso Ramen which was excellent. The broth was the perfect balance of smoky/creamy/spicy. Thai Iced Tea was fantastic too.“
“We are locals and regular patrons of NaNa. In several vacations out of town we have ordered from sushi places, assuming we would get something of similar or a superior quality than what we were used to. We have been disappointed time and time again in other restaurants. It turns out no one can live up to the quality and tastiness of our hometown favorite, Nana in Shorewood. I think we will stop trying when we are on vacation and just be happy when we get home to Milwaukee to be able to have Nana sushi again. It is excellent quality, delicious, and reasonably priced. We have ordered both sushi rolls and dinners such as sesame chicken countless times. If it was socially/financially appropriate to eat there every night we probably would. Thank you Nana, we didn’t realize how lucky we were to have the best sushi restaurant around just down the street from us!“

“Went to Kim for my hubby’s bday and we were both extremely pleased with our meals. Normally it should be too much food to eat in one sitting but he and I couldn’t stop! 😆 Looking forward to going again.“

“Wife and I went for a long walk along the east side then decided to look for a sushi restaurant. Found this place close by. We ordered 5 different rolls and some veggie Stirfry w a side of rice. Everything was excellent! We had a great experience. Reasonable prices. We would go back.“

“Call them on the phone to order take out, don’t order online!! I almost choked when I saw the dishes were up to $20 each but it turns out that is only if you order online. On the phone it is their normal menu prices of $15-16 each. This place is so good!! I am super relieved that I don’t have to find a new Chinese spot haha.“

“So great I had to share! I went in after a long day at work and ordered a bowl to go. I walked outside and it slipped out of my hands and all over the street. I was so frustrated and upset, but I went back inside to buy another bowl. I explained my situation and NOT ONLY did they give me a new bowl for free, BUT GAVE ME A RICE CRISPY TREAT TO CHEER ME UP!❤️ I’m not sure what the lady’s name was that helped me, but that was the best customer service I have ever had. 100% recommend this place! “Friends in from out of state. Few options for Monday dinner. SO GLAD we found KAWA. Fantastic staff, very clean and comfortable inside dining room, and the food was TERRIFIC!! I really apreciated the portion size - perfect, not overloaded plates at very fair prices -- and the presentation was truly elegant. I'll definitely return -- what a terrific place. Thanks, KAWA!“

“It has been a very long time since I have experienced a superb restaurant serving exotic Nepalese dishes. Sometimes memories are hard to compete with. Most actual dishes just do not dance on your palate the same way you remembered them. Surprised to hear that Cafe Everest was so close to my travel area, I decided to give them a try. I had little in expectations as the blending of spices is a delicate formula and many have tried but none came close to my memories. Each bite led me to another, the spices brought me back to the same conclusions after each and every bite "oh this is good it is really good. I was and am delighted. Everest Cafe you found a devoted customer. "Hmmmm this is good this is really good!"“

“This ramen is delicious! The source quality noodles and the menu is the prefect size. The portions are great and the flavors are on point! Absolutely perfect! The Lemongrass Lychee Martini is quite possibly the best martini I’ve ever had. It was perfectly balanced with sweet and tart and so flavorful! Cheers!!!“

“Love this place! My favorite is the Sweet Avo. This one is the Spicy Tuna, really good, too! The only thing I am disappointed about is the removal of Kimchi from the menu.

Kid-friendliness: It's in a building that hosts other stores and offices. Very quiet and clean.“

“We had the family-style fish fry. The fish is lightly breaded, not beer batter. we don't particularly care for beer battered fish. the fries are really good. too. Very generous portions for 2 people...I think there were 12 pieces of fish! I don't like the cole slaw much...I like creamy Cole skaw and this was mostly coarsely shredded cabbage and carrots with little dressing. But the fish is really good..“

“They have the best ramen that I have ever had. I don't eat pork, so it can be hard to find pork-free ramen that's flavorful. This bowl is so tasty on its own that you do not need to add any meat (or tofu) to it. I've ordered other things, but usually wish I had just stuck with the ramen cuz it's that good. Unless you can stand a lot of heat, go with the mild which is still pretty spicy. And I grew up eating Indian food, so heat is something I'm used to. And: Help support small businesses like Maki Yaki during this difficult time! You can get the ramen as take out...“

“Possibly one of the best Chinese restaurants in MKE.
Pan fried noodles were delicious, and a massive portion size. The dumpling soup was light, clean, and the dumplings were savory. Har Gao were great, but definitely not as good as dim sum spots in Chicago. (Nothing compares to Ming Hin!) Will definitely be going back.“
