“First visit last week for lunch with my wife. I'd describe the place as a sports bar and, being older, this is not a place that I would normally go to. HOWEVER, in this case, I'd make an exception. They have a fantastic selection of beers and, to my delight, actually had two Porters available. I seldom see this style anywhere.

The burger I ordered was one of the best I've had anywhere and my wife thorougly enjoyed her fish fry. Our server (sorry, I forgot her name) was outstanding, giving us just the right amount of attention.“

“They are dog friendly and have consistently had good options on tap. Do know that they are a bar only, not a resturaunt. They have bags of chips for sale, but no food food. I like it because I like having a place out that I can take my dog. Dogs allowed inside and out on the patio.“

We ordered the zucchini fritters, fried calamari, baked chicken, shrimp souvlaki, and got the tzatziki/Tarama/Tirokafteri dips w/ pita bread. Everything tasted impeccable and the presentation of the food was great! Atmosphere was perfect for the sunny day. I also got a Salty Cucumber cocktail and it was super refreshing and tasty. I literally don’t have a single bad thing to say about this spot. We also ordered a pound of the tzatziki spread to go and another pound of the tarama to go 🤣“

“Sugar Maple is a great staple in the Milwaukee craft beer scene. With so many beers on tap, there’s definitely something for everyone! They have a full bar if beer isn’t your thing. The service and atmosphere are nice, and there is a patio out back. Sugar Maple often hosts fun events like Name That Beer trivia (free to play!), food trucks, beer and food pairings, and brewery visits/tap takeovers. They now offer an order-in food selection as well. If you like craft beer, Sugar Maple is an excellent bar to visit.“

“Came to Milwaukee for a day, visiting from Chicago. Three kids and three adults. The kids were hungry (as always) so we stopped in here and we were greeted by wonderful staff and the food was delicious. We felt so welcomed and despite our large party (and very demanding 4 year olds), staff handled all of our requests and questions with ease. Thank you for an enjoyable and wonderful meal!“

“Went for the first time today for a doggo lunch date with muh fur baby. Wonderful staff and quick service. I noticed negative reviews complaining there was dogs, well no crap it’s the business model and there’s an actual picture of a dog on the door and logo. ANYWAYS price is a little steep but when I got my food holy cow it was delicious. And I love that they have dog friendly menu items available as well. The place is super clean for the amount of guests and animals that come through. Loved that the food pickup and service area is separate from dining. The only downfall was I did pay for pickles and there wasn’t any but I didn’t even notice it until I devoured the first half of my food. No big deal. I ordered the steak sandwich and strawberry limeade which I also love is made by hand with fresh fruit. My dog is now sleeping in a food coma as am I.“

“Don't know why this place has three dollar signs. It's incredibly cheap! $4 for pretty much everything (20 craft taps, well/rail drinks, and wine). They have a great selection of 20 rotating craft beer taps for $4, and also offer growler fills. It's hard to go wrong here.“

“I work 3 rd shift and get off at 7am. I do a lil errands and then go to this bar and chill. They open at 10 am. Their prices on drinks are reasonable. I have my 2 Bloody Mary's in the morning and listen to music. My breakfast before I go to bed! Lol!

“Foy's is a nice spot on Jefferson for a cocktail. The place is casual but has a stylish decor. In summer, a wall of windows opens up to the street, giving the place an airy feel.

I've visited several times this summer, and the only concern I've had is that the service and drinks can vary depending on the staff that day. Our last visit was excellent—the two bartenders mixed some tasty drinks for us. On some other visits, different bartenders didn't seem to have the same talents.“
