“We hadn't come to eat here for a long time and wow, very impressed with the changes to the restaurant, good service from Eyla, quite friendly and welcoming. The delicious food! I recommend El Almuercito and a passion fruit juice. We will definitely return.“
“Came here for a quick stop on our way to Port Washington. The food was excellent and the variety of pastries just like back home on the island. The workers here top notch. Had a great time and wish we could come more often but we are from Chicago and the distance doesn't allow us visit here more often but I recommend to all who are looking for authentic Puerto Rican cuisine.“
“This was ordered & picked up on the way to work by a co-worker that suggested this truck, I’m very happy he did so, love the plantain Slider’s & can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. Definitely a place to go to if you want to try something different and “
“Jibarito on point so fresh and tasty like the first time you ever had one. Like Borinquen or Mias Marianos cafe. The plaintain the fresh ingredients will have you in ahh. Arroz/Rice should have some ham/hamon and olives/asetunas. But, still delicious, RicanMex is a good spot to try and keep portions are generous and well served. Bless this family for sharing tastbuds with everyone. I will definitely come back and try entire menu Thank you.“
“Excellent authentic puertorican food. The empanadas, bacalaitos, were delicious. The arroz con gandules and bistec encebollado were very tasty. The service was very good, I highly recommend this restaurant. I'll be coming back for sure, although I live 30 miles away, it's worth it.“
“A very excellent customer service +++ (the best customer service you can get), the food was super rich, delicious, exquisite (I felt like I was in Puerto Rico 100% authentic), wow the frappés, cheesecake (very grateful) and cheese flan those were at another level, another level!!! Very humble, helpful. Truly beautiful people, I recommend this beautiful Puerto Rican restaurant 100%, go and visit you will be very well attended and with a warm Puerto Rican welcome. God bless you guys, extra excellent work, forward ?❤️, rain of blessings from above ?❤️.“
“I had the weekend special: pozole verde. It was delicious! Perfect amount of hominy corn, chicken and broth with the perfect flavor and a slight kick of spice. Not too greasy and the price was on point (32oz for $10). Located in the 3rd st market hall which is a perfect place to gather with friends or family. Fun activities inside and lots of options to eat. I want to go back to try the grilled chicken. Plates are served well and easily shareable which is perfect so you save room for dessert from another stall.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options as most Latin cuisine is.Kid-friendliness: Large plates to share. Rice and beans are almost always a hit with kids.“
“i ordered the Paisano Plate. was huge plate with a lot of meat, nice and warm. the seasoning was perfect . I tell you it was AMAZING! My husband had a pastrami sandwich. we couldn't eat it all. we took left overs home great Service, Polite, clean and great price. We'll definitely rreturning and I'm taking my family there!!“
“My family and I were there earlier this week, and we were impressed by the recent renovations. We started our lunch by ordering the sampler appetizer and tostone rellenos. Both my husband and I enjoyed their margaritas, especially the passionfruit one. The spicy chicken empanadas were great. For our mains, we ordered steaks, which were a bit chewy, but the rice made up for it! My only suggestion, especially in summer, would be to have a kids' menu.“
