Don Ramon in West Bend, WI is a hidden gem off the beaten path, not a major chain. The food is phenomenal, amazing, and good. The menu is abundant with authentic Mexican dishes. The Molcajete is a piece of art and very much worth it. The ceviche was fresh and delicious. A chicken quesadilla was stuffed with flavorful chicken, mushrooms and spinach. The chicken taco salad came in a homemade tortilla bowl. The Best Nachos ever, and the Nachos Fajitas plate with grilled vegetables and good sized cuts of meat was delicious. Portions are extraordinarily large for one and worth the money. The margarita flight did not disappoint. Service is spectacular, friendly, efficient, and quick. Staff made you feel like family. It is one of the few places to get a Dos Equis in the area. This is a nice choice for West Bend, and customers will be back.
