“We stopped for dinner tonight. Patio is awesome. Our server, Karen was attentive, funny, and fast. We had the Wednesday special, 2 tacos. I make better tacos at home. They didn't come with rice and beans (which most places include) No chips and salsa included, we had to pay extra for that. They had no wings as there is a shortage and the tater tot nachos were cold and bland. We might go back when we want to drink on the patio, but not sure about coming back for the food.”

“I just discovered DW Coffee in Wind Lake online a couple of months ago, and my daughter and I finally stopped by yesterday. The employees were friendly and knowledgeable, and our food and drink choices were delicious. The dining area seats around 20 people, and they have a nice assortment of travel mugs, local honey, sweatshirts and more available. It is warm and inviting and not crowded. My only suggestion would be that the sidewalk to the patio entrance should have been shoveled in case anyone with walking limitations came before the snow melted, especially since there were at least 3 employees behind the counter chatting, but the food and service itself were great.”

“We ordered for the first time yesterday at Brothers Gyro & Pizza. The Pizza was the best pizza we had ever eaten. Best crust, best sauce, plenty of cheese and toppings. Perfect! Brother's will be a go to for us for pizza and I can't wait to try the gyro. ❤️”

“I just found this wonderful shop and I’m so sad I’m moving out of state in 3 months!! This is the best ice cream I have ever had in my entire life!!! It’s also the only ice cream that doesn’t hurt my stomach (no idea why but I love that fact!) And the ice cream flights are a genius way of getting to try multiple flavors. I am determined to find a way to bring the Salted Peanut Butter Choc Chip pints with me on our cross country move to CA.”

“Honestly, this is probably the best Korean food in the Milwaukee area. The pork and the beef are both phenomenal. It’s a quick bite, not unlike a chipotle or qudoba, and the food is amazing. I’ve been to the now closed Char’d and I want to say it was called New Seoul on the lower eastside, but this is leagues better. The kimchi is good. The purple rice is good. The meat is good. I grew up in a half Korean household and this is the closest I’ve had to my mom’s cooking.”

Get some cold treats but don't miss stepping next door for great food with the additional benefit that they source what they can locally and make things from scratch. Prices are fair as well.
