Holy upgrade!! We haven't had long john silvers in forever because of how greasy their food was. However we gave them another try and to our surprise it was delicious!
I used the drive thru...the person on the speaker spoke clearly, my food was so freshly cooked I had to wait a minute to bite into it
Was craving hush puppies and was hungry after hiking at Harper's Ferry. I have not eaten at LJS since the 1990s. I was more than pleasantly surprised. Will come back more often

Based on the reviews, Long John Silver's | A&W in Charles Town, VA, is a fantastic restaurant. The food is fantastic, with the best fish and chicken and classic LJS. The fish was cooked perfect. The food is fresh, classic LJS, and good. The atmosphere was great. The staff provides excellent customer service. The manager came out and introduced himself, a nice touch. One staff attendant was one of the best, very pleasant, taking orders, cooking, and attending the window. Another staff member was awesome and kept everyone happy. The inside could use a face lift, but the great food makes up for it. This is a great place to grab a bite to eat.
